Violent protests have been going on throughout Afghanistan this week, the protestors are lashing out against America. What sparked these protests you ask, well let me tell you. A preacher in Florida. That's right one man started several riots on the other side of the world. The liberal media has labeled this man as a bigot, hatemonger, radical extremist, and a host of other ugly terms. What kind of horrid act of hate and bigotry did this man commit you ask? He exercised his right to freedom of expression as guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. This preacher burned a Koran, the holy book of the religion of peace Islam. And in retaliation for this heinous crime protestors all over the Middle East have begun violent riots. It has grown so far out of proportion that El Jefe has started to apologize to the Islamic people for letting this man exercise his basic god given rights that are granted to him through our US Constitution. Now why in the fuck is the president bowing down to these shitheads. This man was just protesting the treatment of Christians and The Bible in a more peaceful manner than the nations of Islam have done. Their form of protest usually involves killing Christians and burning Bibles but that’s ok because they are the religion of peace. Yet if you make a disparaging remark about Mohamed or Allah it could cost you your life. Is your religion that weak, your faith so fragile that the only way to deal with non believers is to maim or kill them and torch the houses of worship and burn their holy symbols? I pity you for that. Rioters in Afghanistan were filmed burning a cross and an effigy of President Obama and he still apologized and called the preacher’s actions abhorrent. What about the actions of the Islamic people that have tortured, maimed, killed, and beheaded U.S. citizens, U.S. Military forces, and even their own people, why are we not looking to them for apologies? I can answer that question as well. Our glorious leader is a spineless pussy, he refuses to stand up and defend this nation and its constitution. I have to wonder why he refuses to defend his own country. Could it be that the birthers our correct that he isn’t a true citizen of the U.S. If he spent half as much time defending this nation as he does kissing the ass of the Islamic world we wouldn’t have any need to send troops to Afghanistan or Libya, the problem would already be dealt with. In Afghanistan seven UN employees were murdered in retaliation for the burning of the Koran. And here I thought that Islam was the religion of peace. I don’t recall any Christian groups starting riots when Islamic terrorists have bombed churches or commenced the wholesale slaughter of Christians in the Middle East. Maybe we should stop pandering to these criminal fucks and treat them like the terrorist cult that they are and begin wiping them out before the hatred they breed spreads to our own country. I realize that won’t happen as long as super pussy is running the show but every man can dream right? I have a dream that one day I will not have to fear being murdered due to my beliefs. I have a dream, that one day this country will elect a leader strong enough to defend her from all enemies foreign and domestic. After two years of living with the Obama administration, you think the liberal kool aid drinkers would have lightened up a little bit and realized what an enormous mistake electing this president truly was. If you think that you would be wrong. They will defend him just as fervently now as they did when he was running for office promising unicorns and rainbows the people with more than two functioning brain cells knew he couldn't deliver. I often post joke pictures up on the internet to amuse myself these pictures all have one thing in common they make ME laugh. Now if I read the bill of rights correctly I have the right to do this under the First Amendment, just like all you liberal kool aid drinking retards have the right to spew your hate speech against honest law abiding hard working gun owners. It was just recently that I posted a picture that was a little disparaging of his Holiness the Illustrious Potentate El Jefe, one of the liberal Obama lovers saw it and started trolling with snarky comments as is his right but when confronted with logic and reason he like all liberals first tried hiding behind the liberal media that does everything in there power to paint the failed presidency of El Jefe in a positive light then when that didn't work he just ran away. Now it is his right to express his opinion whenever he wants I have no issue with that, my issue is with the way these liberals go about it. This was a personal page that I am allowed to post things to they are only viewable by people I have allowed to see them so throwing your snarky comments on there are not going to get your message out, in face all you are really doing is pissing me off by launching your attacks on me in my personal space. Here is the real problem I have with the liberal obama crowd, had I posted a picture that demonized Bush they would have found it highly amusing and would have posted positive, and encouraging feedback. How in the fuck is this ok? So what your telling me and teaching the younger generation by example is speech is free as long as I agree with it? That mindset has been tried before Adolph Hitler loved that kind of thinking and look how that worked out for the Jews. If this is the kind of intolerant bigoted attitude you wish to instill in your children then by all means do so I however will teach my children to respect others opinions whether or not they agree with them. There are people out there that believe that all drugs should be legal and taxed, I don't agree with that but I believe they are entitled to their opinion. There are people that believe that all the worlds current problems can be blamed on George W. Bush again I disagree but they are entitled to their opinion. Why is it they are entitled to their opinion but if I don't believe the way they do I am a bigot, hatemonger, moron, racist, backwoods retard, but if they don't agree with my onion it is because they are obviously more enlightened that I am? I'll tell you why. Most of these uppity liberals are lazy elitist assholes that want nothing more then to have the hard working people like me pay more in taxes to sustain their useless lazy bullshit way of existence. Some of the most hardcore Obama fans I have ever met are lazy unemployed welfare cases that haven't worked a day in the last several years. These people were overjoyed when the great savior was anointed King as that meant those of us that actually had jobs and worked for a living would get to spend more of our hard earned money supporting them in the future. There was much rejoicing in the streets when El Jefe announced the government takeover of the health care system, a system that the government under Hillary Clinton destroyed. Now all people will be forced to have health insurance or face a fine. Now let me get this straight, I either give you money or I get some form of punishment? We have a word for that let me think.................Oh yeah EXTORTION. Our government has now become the Mafia. Many government officials have been believed to be on the payroll of the mob, now the government is the mob. So why is it when John Gotti tried this he got jail time but when His Eminence does it much rejoicing is heard? I get so tired of defending my opinion from people that are supposedly so learned and open minded. Liberal Sheep Protest the cops let criminals slide WTF!

For those of you that know who I am you know that I reside in the Pacific Northwest, Oregon to be specific and lately there have been numerous protests against the Portland Police Bureau following several officer involved shootings. In almost every case the criminal that was shot was armed with some form of deadly weapon and repeatedly ignored orders from the responding officer to put said weapon down. In all of these cases less than lethal methods from beanbag rounds to tazers failed to subdue the suspect. After every incident the protestors come out o the woodwork like cockroaches, screaming to have the officer involved fired at best and tried for murder at worst, the protests go on for days until the review board findings come out either clearing the officer of any wrongdoing or establishing that the officer failed to follow proper procedure during the confrontation. If the verdict is that it was a clean shoot the mob that has formed outside police headquarters building starts crying out for more sensitivity training for the police, or continues to shout or his immediate termination. I can’t understand how Portland can keep anyone employed as a police officer, no matter what you do someone wants you fired, indicted, or simply dead just for going to work and expecting to go home to your family at the end of the day. Sadly for Rainer Police Chief Painter that will not happen, during a struggle with a suspect Chief Painter was killed in the line of duty when the criminal fuck managed to get his service pistol and use it against him. The very next day guess how many protestors were in front of the jail calling for the head of the piece of shit that killed a decent man....... None. That's right folks not one person spoke out in outrage that some waste of oxygen had gunned down a police officer yet the lemming like masses will rise up when the situation is reversed. What the fuck is wrong with this world when the masses will cry out in horror that a man convicted of multiple felonies attacks an officer and dies, yet when the same thing happens to a cop they say nothing? What next picket lines preventing firefighters from putting out a fire? Chaining yourself to an operating room door to keep a surgeon out? Let’s say the police didn't shoot these armed felons and let them roam the streets what would happen then? The same thing only this time they would be asking why the police were doing nothing to prevent the crimes. You can’t have it both ways you retarded sheep. You either ask the police to protect you or you shut up and accept it when you are the victim of a violent crime. I choose to rely on myself for protection not the local police force, I know that when faced with and armed assailant the cops are going to take 5+ minutes to arrive where as my Glock takes just seconds to draw aim and fire, thereby stopping a threat to my person. of course then the lemmings would be in front of my house protesting, for this I would ask the police for assistance to arrest any trespassers on my property, several times over the last 6 years that I have lived near Portland I have been called paranoid for carrying a concealed weapon, my answer to that is usually its only paranoia till I'm right. I once had a conversation with a co worker about owning guns, his position was one that is fairly common yet I find it so utterly alien as to be almost offensive to me. He said that he once thought about buying a gun for protection but when his first child was born he decided that he did not want guns in his house. I asked him why and he told me that he didn't want his daughter to find it and accidentally shoot herself or someone else. Now as a responsible gun owner and a fiercely protective husband I can’t fathom the logic he used to reach this conclusion. How can you not want to protect your family? I gave this co worker some sage advice about responsible gun ownership step one buy a lock box and keep the gun in there, you can even get models of lock box now that recognize fingerprints giving you instant access to your weapon while keeping everyone else out. This is one of the best uses of biometric security that I can think of. Step two, teach your children that guns are not toys, if they are curious about guns as all children are take them out and let them shoot with you. This gives you the added bonus of bonding with your children, I know unheard of in today's world but maybe if more people tried it the world would be a better place. Another bonus to teaching your children about guns is that should they be at a friend’s house and the friend is playing with a gun your child will know to leave and find an adult possibly stopping a tragedy. Instead of blaming the Police for all these shootings why don't we try something new and start blaming the system that continues to let these violent repeat offenders out of prison? Several of the shootings have involved people with mental disorders, the outcry from the public is always the same, the cops are too quick to use deadly force, they need more training to deal with the mentally ill. Let me tell you this if someone is coming at me with a knife, hatchet, ax, machete, or hell even a steel dildo, the last thing I am going to do is ask if he is mentally ill. I am going to draw, aim, and fire, stopping the threat before I become a victim. Let the protestors picket my house they have the right to do so, just like I have the right to defend myself and my family. Several months ago Portland Police shot Keaton Otis during a traffic stop. Mr., Otis was driving through a know gang neighborhood dressed, and acting like a gang member. Members of the police followed his car and when he made several illegal lane changes they initiated a traffic stop. Once stopped Mr. Otis became aggressive screaming and swearing at the police, after he failed to follow the directions of the officers on the scene one member of the police tried to pull him from the car, this started a physical altercation; three tazer units were deployed in an attempt to subdue the suspect. When the Tazer units failed to work the criminal dirt bag pulled a stolen 9mm pistol and fired on the cops wounding one officer in the leg. The other officers returned fire killing the suspect. Once this story went out the liberal sheeple started in on the cops for racial profiling, claiming that the cops were picking on Mr. Otis because he was black. This isn't the case at all; they picked him for several reasons, like the fact that he was driving in a KNOWN gang area dressed like a gang member. He was wearing a hoody on a hot summer day which is a common trait among drug users, he violated several traffic laws. Now if you want to walk around areas with documented gang activity dressed and acting like a gang member, don't be surprised when the cops start to pay you more attention. The fact that pop culture has glamorized the criminal lifestyle of gangs through movies, music, and TV, has made it trendy to dress and act like a criminal, I myself look like an extra from every biker gang movie and show ever made, and when I am on my motorcycle I get extra attention from the cops does this bother me? Not a bit. Now I can hear you asking, But Hillbilly why doesn't that piss you off if you arent doing anything wrong? Well I'll tell you, it doesn't bother me because they are just doing their jobs looking out for the public, now if they do stop me I take several steps to keep myself safe from being the next guy on the six o'clock news. 1 keep your hands out of your pockets. 2 do what the man with the gun says. 3 be polite. 4 Keep your hands out of your pockets. Notice a theme there? If you don't give the cops a reason to escalate they won’t. Instead of blaming the cops every time someone with mental illness gets shot why don't we blame the mental health system that didn't treat these people? After Mr. Otis was shot the Albina Christian Ministry flooded the streets calling for the heads of the officers involved, blaming the cops for this situation. Yes folks you read that right they blamed the cops. The only reason that the criminal fuck is dead is this. HE SHOT A COP! When he fired the first shot he escalated the situation to deadly force. The cops had already tried 3 tazers and they were NOT effective. Another case of officer involved shooting that happened recently is just as bad. On two occasions in the same 24 hour period the Portland Police were called to an apartment complex, first call was to a domestic dispute, the situation was resolved all parties returned to their corners and the cops went on their way, second call comes in for a man with a gun to the same apartment, the responding officers knock on the door and are greeted by a man with a gun in hand. The officers respond by shooting the criminal with the gun. Now we discover after the fact that the gun was only a replica, but in the split second they had to respond it looked completely real to the officers. The local news posted a picture of the replica gun in question and without close inspection there is no way to distinguish it from its real life counterpart the Colt Commander, the slide was even stamped Colt Commander. But yet again you have a situation of white cop dead black guy so obviously it was a race thing. Wrong again you liberal fucks, he opened the door with a gun. Step 5 don't have a gun in your hand when the police come knocking. How is this hard to figure out Jesus Christ on roller skates have we lost are fucking minds in this country? If you pose a threat to the police they will do what is necessary to stop said threat. How is that not simple logic to everyone? Get a fucking clue if you are dumb enough to attack the cops with what appears to be a deadly weapon you don't deserve any sympathy when they shoot you. You quickly move to the to stupid to live category. This is Darwin at work cleaning the gene pool. Pirates make great shark food

Now its been some time since my last post here at the lodge but this headline just set me off as soon as i read it. "4 Americans Hijacked US mulls response." The story that follows is about 4 missionaries sailing through the pirate infested waters surrounding Somalia when they are taken prisoner by Somali pirates. My question is what is there to mull over you send in the special forces and get our people back. Isn’t one of the responsibilities of His Holiness King Obama to protect the American citizen? Right now there are several Americans being held hostage by these animals. Why haven’t we done anything about this yet? The bigger question is where is the useless nations isn’t this their jurisdiction? These attacks happen in international waters which means we have every right to go in and sink every pirate vessel we see. This is what we should be doing not all of our carrier groups are tied up in the middle east lets send one to the waters off Somalia and use it for pirate interdiction. If we see pirates working in international waters we sink the ships and leave the pirates to swim home. I am sure we have a group of highly trained men that could go in and rescue all of the hostages currently held by the criminal fucks that prey on these waters and while effecting a rescue they could do some good by killing a bundle of these guys off. These animals have been allowed to prey on innocents for far to long as is, why hasn't anyone already dealt with them? If the peace loving hippy bunny fuckers think that talking to them is going to do a damn bit of good i have news for them it wont. The only negotiation these criminals understand is who has the bigger gun. Its time we showed them that they are very small fish in a very large pond and that we are the biggest fish in the sea. A few months of sinking these bastards and you would see the rate of pirate attacks drop rather dramatically. For all of the hippy retards that want to make up excuses for these criminals crying about how poor their country is and how they don’t have a stable government, here is my response. NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM. The problems in Somalia do not give them the right to hijack people off the ocean and then charge huge ransoms from their families to return them. If they want better lives maybe they should look to fixing their government instead of attacking anyone who happens to be sailing by. They created the problems in that country by allowing drug dealers to run the country, that’s all on them we should not have to deal with this bullshit. But since they have decided to attack American citizens maybe its time we started attacking some Somali pirates. Not all of our Special Forces operators are in Afghanistan, I’m sure we keep some of the seal teams at home, those that are on leave or training rotations something lets put these guys to work doing what they do best, killing bad guys and rescuing the innocents. Mayor Sam Adams of Portland Oregon has had enough of the gang violence plaguing the city and has come up with five initiatives to help curb gun violence. These are the typical liberal knee jerk reactionary responses to crimes committed with guns and not surprisingly they come on the heels of a rash of gang shootings around Portland. Let’s take a look at the proposed initiatives and then I will in my oh so gentle fashion tell you all what a crock of shit this idea is. Number one, a new law that makes it a city crime to not report a gun stolen or missing. So now not only have you been the victim of a crime but Sammy wants to make you a criminal as well thanks for that. Number two, Increased penalties for carrying a loaded gun in a public space, there are already city ordinances against carrying a firearm in Portland without a concealed carry permit, last time I checked it was already a crime for felons to poses a firearm and were prohibited from obtaining a CCP so if it’s already a crime why not try actually enforcing the law we already have, just a thought. Number three, a special curfew for any juveniles found to have violated gun laws, how about a curfew for all juveniles in general let’s say ten o’clock on school nights, why your ten year old needs to be out this late is beyond me but hey I was raised by responsible loving parents not the xbox. Number four and my personal favorite, city criminal penalties for ANY ADULT who fails to control access to a firearm by a child. Now how in the fuck can this even be enforced without going into every persons home to first check for weapons and second making sure they are properly secured, which without probable cause or a search warrant would be illegal as shit so I ask you Mr. Mayor how do you propose the police enforce this law? The obvious answer will be the next step which is to require gun registration for all citizens of Portland, to which I say FUCK NO. Why should I have to tell anyone what I own next they will want to register computers to crack down on anyone posting anti democratic thoughts on websites. And number five, Exclude people who have been convicted of violating "firearms use or possession laws" from certain areas within Portland, How about instead of excluding them from certain areas we just leave them in prison where they belong and quite letting them back into society to perpetuate their life of crime. What Sam has proposed will do absolutely nothing to curb gang violence but it looks good on paper like he cares enough to do something. And it will probably be enough to get the liberal morons in Portland to re elect his worthless ass. This is the same guy that wanted to cut the police budget yet made sure his plans for new bike lanes in Portland was still funded. Now how do you expect the police to enforce these new laws if you are cutting their budget to pay for another bike lane? What the fuck is wrong with this guy can he not see how asinine his own actions are? If you truly want to curb gang violence start by arresting and convicting gang members and putting them in prison, stop making prison life more appealing than life outside. Bring back the hard labor sentences 25 years making small rocks out of big rocks, digging ditches for 12 hours a day, instead of a cushy life with cable television and recreation centers in the prison. If they must have television make it useful all children’s programming all the time maybe Dora and Barney and the Teletubbies can teach these genetic rejects about being good citizens cause its apparent that the parents completely fucked it up. Of course the prison suicide rate would start to rise but really is that a loss? This mamby pamby touchy feely way of treating criminals is an obvious failure so maybe we should go back to the old ways where prison was a punishment not a vacation. Raping the Bill of Rights through the Backdoor: Part Two

During his campaign for the presidency Mr. Obama promised more transparency in government, yet lets look at how his "historic" health care reform became law. The majority of Americans were against this reform package for a variety of reasons, chief amongst them is the fact that with the economy already in the sad state that it is, this will only push us further and further into debt. Not to mention giving the governments’ unprecedented control over yet another sector of private industry. The government already has a large stake in the banking and auto industries now they have the medical industry to add to their collection. How long till the press is bought up and all of your information is brought to you by federal agencies? To get to this point the President spent the weeks leading up to the Senate vote holding private meetings with senators that were on the fence or leaning towards a No vote on this bill. What was discussed in these meetings is unknown but you can imagine that he was buying votes with promises to support legislation at a later time. Legislation like immigration reform that includes retroactive amnesty for all illegal immigrants currently in this country, who are currently not covered under Obama Care, but once they are granted amnesty and are legal residents of the US they to will be granted medical insurance at your expense. The health care reform that was just passed says that all legal residents of the US must purchase health insurance but for those that truly cant afford it the government will help subsidize it for you now if you opt out of having insurance you will have to pay a fine, so no matter what you are going to be paying into the system. Here is one issue I have with this, I now HAVE to give money to a PRIVATE ENTITY or face a fine. WTF? For those of you who work at a job that has benefits you are not immune to paying into the system, if your health plan is better than the government minimum it qualifies as a luxury plan and guess what there's a tax for that. Apparently our glorious leader is taking lessons from Steve Jobs and Apple. Want to buy a house? there's a tax for that, have quality health insurance? there's a tax for that. Another small addition to the health care reform bill that got no mention in the press was the formation of an emergency reserve force to be used much like the national guard in times of crises, but they would be under the control of the attorney generals office and could be deployed with no limit to their tour of duty and no need for that pesky congressional approval. In essence this bill creates a private army that is loyal to the president and not the Constitution and country. This also allows them to ignore your rights to illegal search and seizure and your right to a fair trial. Oh and by the way there's a tax for that. To get here he made lots of backdoor deals and promises to many people that were not in any way transparent. It looks like the only transparency this man is capable of is the absolute lie that he gives one red shit about the people of this great nation. The inmates at the federal asylum known as Washington D.C. are not happy with destroying the second amendment but as I have been saying for years are now attacking the first amendment. Recently the 2009 cyber security act was passed through senate committee for debate by the entire Senate, the key part of this bill is the power it gives to the President. This bill will give the President to issue a nationwide blackout or restriction on websites without congressional approval. The stated purpose of this bill is to help curtail terrorist attacks through cyberspace, but giving this much power to one individual will lead to more attacks on the first amendment under the guise of national security. I am all for stopping terrorist attacks but the more we sacrifice our rights for security the more we will lose in the end. Now I can think of a couple of countries that have this kind of governmental control over internet usage the two that come to mind right off the bat are China, and North Korea. That's right folks your duly elected representatives are taking notes on how to create laws from Communist dictatorships. Kind of shocking when you think about it maybe all those people saying that Obama is a socialist are on to something. Its bad enough the with his health care reform El Jefe has decided how you spend your money now he wants the power to control what information you can access. How long will it be before the government decides that the Bill of Rights and the Constitution in its entirety are obsolete and destroys them in favor of full control of the populace? Over the last three decades the push to abolish the Second Amendment has been gathering strength, why do you suppose that the government wants more restrictions on gun ownership? If they are to ever achieve total control over their subjects they muse first disarm them to prevent revolution. An armed society has citizens, an unarmed society has subjects. The socialist rat bastard all you kool aid drinkers voted into office wants subjects not citizens, he and all of his loyal toadies know what is best for you the uneducated masses. Seattle hates gun owners what a fucking shock.

With the rash of shootings that have occurred in Washington state recently including the murder of several police officers you knew the liberal government there wouldn't take long to push their agenda. In what can only be described as knee jerk liberalism three Washington legislators are proposing a bill to ban the sale of military STYLE assault weapons, not only would this bill ban the sale of these weapons but would force current owners to undergo background checks, which creates a type of gun registration. It is obvious to me that these lawmakers have only a vague knowledge of the current laws in this country as the last I checked it was already a crime for felons to posses firearms so anyone who volunteers for the background check is not going to be a felon. Why is it so hard to understand that criminals are going to ignore any gun law you pass and the only people being punished by this law are the law abiding citizens of the state. it comes as no surprise that the people proposing this bill are all members of the commucrat party, and given that the governor of Washington is her anointed highness Christine Gregoire is a dyed in the wool commucrat herself, I can see her soaking her panties to sign this into law. For a long time I have known that the government of Washington has wanted to outlaw guns completely the only thing stopping them was this small thing known as the second amendment, which most liberals would love to repeal so that they can push their agenda of an unarmed society on everyone. Even the name of this bill is complete BULLSHIT, the title of the bill is the Aaron Sullivan Public Safety and Police Protection Bill. Now I ask you how in the world is banning military STYLE assault weapons going to make anyone safer from crime? Criminals don't care about buying legal guns simply because they can't get them by legal means. With the inception of the instant background check system all it takes is one phone call to find out if someone can legally purchase a firearm or not. Instead of banning guns why don't we create tougher punishments for the criminals who use guns in their crimes? And by the way who in the fuck thought it was a good idea to grant a man charged with his third felony in a three strike state bail on a rape charge? This guy had absolutely nothing to lose had he lived to see trial if convicted he goes to prison for life again. I say we bring the judge up on charges of reckless endangerment, it was his decision to grant this guy bail and give him a chance to go out and murder four cops.
The law being proposed seeks to ban the sale of guns based on cosmetics and magazine capacity. Does this sound familiar to anyone? If you remember the Clinton administration enacted a ban exactly like this one in 1994 it did exactly nothing to diminish crime and the only people that were helped by this law were the people selling pre ban weapons as the prices skyrocketed, the only thing that has been proven to deter crime is more guns. If you look at the crime rates for cities with loose gun restrictions the violent crime rates for Washington D.C. which has a complete handgun ban in effect and then compare that with San Antonio Texas which allows its citizens to own firearms. the numbers don't lie people more guns means less crime. Criminals are inherently cowardly they would rather victimize someone who is unable to defend themseelves than take the chance of getting shot. The area I grew up in had virtually no violent crime home invasions were non existent, and the rate of armed robberies were calculated by the decade not the year. Why is that you ask. because everyone owned guns and knew how to use them, the chance of getting shot for breaking into someone's house were very high.
One of the authors of this bill Representative Ross Hunter, D-Medina was quoted in the Seattle times saying "We don't allow people to own tanks or bazookas or machine guns, and very few people think that that's an unreasonable restriction." WTF how in the hell can you compare the ownership of a semi automatic rifle with a bazooka? That's a real stretch there boss, more evidence that most liberal democrats are mentally challenged. The quote from Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles, D-Seattle is as atrocious in its stupidity, "did the framers of our Constitution ever envision something like a semi-automatic weapon?" using that reasoning I can come up with a pretty convincing argument to abolish the First amendment when dealing with radio, television, and the internet. The fact that the three morons proposing this law are all from pugetopolis doesn't surprise me at all they believe that the state revolves around Seattle and anyone who lives outside of that area are backwoods inbreds with the IQ of a cracker. What they don't seem to understand is Seattle is not the center of the know universe and most people don't give a shit about that fucking city. We have now survived our first year with Barack "the great savior" Obama as the communist in chief of our once great nation and in that year he has accomplished several things that were once thought impossible. Lets start with his greatest accomplishment so far the sky high debt that we now have thanks to his bail outs to the corporations and banks that drove our economy into the toilet in the first place. This is a great time to be the ceo of a large corporation, you can drive your company into the ground screw your shareholders out of millions, ship American jobs overseas and when you are about to go completely financially bankrupt you can ask the government for money and get enough to pay yourself a nice fat bonus at taxpayer expense. The reason I say financially bankrupt is because these bastards have been morally bankrupt for years. The government has bought up the banks, two thirds of the American auto industry and now are on the verge of taking over the health insurance industry. Now I have been paying taxes for years and I watch as the money I hand over to the IRS is squandered with nothing to show for it. does anyone really expect the governments health care plan to be anything but an unmitigated disaster? We already have government healthcare remember Medicare, and medicade? How are those programs doing?
To his credit El Jefe did receive a Nobel peace prize this year, for his ideals of diplomacy before warfare. Yet I haven't seen him do a damn thing to promote peace other than go around the world kissing the ass of every head of state he can, apologizing for the United States doing what needed to be done, which is to fight for and protect the rights of every citizen in the US, Afghanistan, and Iraq. During the run up to his anointing as the new messiah he promised to bring our brave fighting men, and women home from the Middle East the only thing he has done since being given the honor of a peace prize is send more troops to Afghanistan. How does this promote peace exactly? Wait I get it peace through superior firepower I can understand that yet as we send more troops to defend the rights of the citizens of those countries the rights of the Citizens of the US are being stomped on more and more. As the Commucrat party gains more and more power in the government you will start to see your rights slowly eroded till they can achieve their ultimate goal complete totalitarian control of the nation. No more elections, no more freedom of speech, religion, press, your right to due process will be a fond memory. And the sheeple will stand buy and let it happen because they wanted change and drank deeply of the brain washing kool aid that Barrack and the commucrats were serving. It truly saddens me that those who will have to stand up for the rights of all will be labeled terrorists, outlaws, and traitors, when they should be called patriots. The optimist in me sees this nightmare ending peacefully when the next presidential election comes around, however the pessimist in me sees a far darker future where the people that own weapons must take them up to defend the constitution from our own government.

In another testament of liberalism run amok the 9th circuit court of appeals has decided that the criminal shitbags currently incarcerated in Washington prisons are still allowed to vote. What I don’t understand is how Washington's criminals are different than any other state. I was under the impression that felons were no longer allowed to vote unless or until they petitioned the courts to have their right to vote restored. According to the appeals court felons in Washington don’t have to jump through that particular set of hoops. Shocking how that now that Barrack the great savior has taken over the big chair the liberal bullshit just keeps coming, everyday more and more liberal groups are getting their agendas pushed forward no matter how screwed up their plan is. Somehow I cant believe that the ACLU isn't behind this, there is no other group in the world that does more to protect criminals from punishment than the ACLU. Most normal thinking humans believe in victims rights not the ACLU for them its all about the criminals, I cant stand how these people will do their damned best to help rapists, murderers, child molesters, and other criminal fucks. In what insane twisted world should convicted felons have any say in how the laws that govern this society are decided, they gave up that particular right the moment they decided that the laws no longer applied to them. Its bad enough that most prisons have become little more than hotels with guards instead of bellhops, but to then tell the families of the victims that the person who raped their child will be clothed, fed, and kept comfortable at their expense still has the right to vote is unbelievable. There was a time when the thought of going to prison was a deterrent to crime, now you have people getting arrested just so they can have three meals a day and a bed to sleep in.
Maybe we should stop and think about our actions before we make these kind of rash decisions, prison should be a punishment not a reward. Bring back the chain gangs, the idea of life in prison at hard labor, take away the comforts, make prison a place you don’t want to be again. For fucks sake its time to stop putting the felons before the rest of us. I have never committed a felony and I get to live a life of freedom where I have the right to vote opportunities to work anywhere and the right to keep and bear arms. These people gave all that up when they broke the law, When you get arrested for a felony u have done something fairly awful to another human being. Ask any person that has been a victim of a felony and the pain of the crime lasts far longer than the crime itself. It makes me sick that anyone would want to help the criminals over the victims. It is absolutely sickening to see all these civil rights groups fighting to make prisoners lives more comfortable. Why in the fuck should we make these bastards comfortable? Instead of giving them more comfortable beds and workout rooms we should be giving them large rocks and hammers with which to turn the big rocks into little rocks and from there into gravel that can be used to pave roads, build schools, or in some other way better society. I am all for rehabbing felons to make them productive members of the community but when you have a repeat offender all the rehab in the world isn't going to do a damned bit of good. It is long past time to stop coddling these people and start thinking about the rights of the victims. The felons gave up their rights as soon as they decided that the laws no longer applied to them. I have brought this up before here at the Lodge but today while I was looking at my facebook page, (yes the angry hillbilly is on face book) there was a pole asking if President Obama, should shut down Fox News. Now this may seem like an innocent question but I can guarantee that it is not. Over the last few weeks Fox News has come under fire for being the voice of the Republican party, and the spokesperson for the president has reportedly said that no one from this administration will talk to Fox News. That's all well and good and if his immanence wants to cut himself off from the conservative crowd that's fine with me I am tired of listening to him promise the moon when he can barely deliver a pizza. The true problem is that there are those that think disagreeing with the president is un American, I have news for these morons we are supposed to disagree, we need to question our leaders at every step to make sure that they are doing the will of the people not the will of themselves. Where were these people when CNN, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and a host of others "News" outlets were trashing George Bush on a daily basis, why weren't there calls to shut them down? Oh wait its because Obama is a liberal Democrat that's right, he can do no wrong so he gets a free pass no matter what. I personally don't care for Fox News their Right wing bias is annoying, on the flip side CNN and its complete liberalism is just as bad, neither one will question their party leadership. It is our job as Citizens to question our leaders they are their to do the will of the people. I don't believe any President should have the power to shut down a press organization no matter which way they lean that comes to close to deleting the First amendment. The Nazi's tried this tactic have you ever seen the pictures of the book burnings that were held in Germany? Any successful dictatorship will eliminate the rights of Free speech and Freedom of the Press, it makes it easier to control the sheep when you control information and how it is disseminated. This week President Obama declared a state of emergency due to the continuing risk of Swine Flu. To date there have been 1000 deaths related to the H1N1 virus in the United States, in the grand scheme of things that is not that may people. When you look at the number of deaths attributed to the seasonal flu every year the numbers are comparable, so how does this equate to a state of emergency? Spokesman for El Jefe claim that by declaring an emergency people can get access to health care faster and it will curb the outbreak, on the other hand the conspiracy theorists claim that this is the first step to abolishing the constitution and declaring marshal law nation wide. If this is the first step to taking away our rights he is going about it ass backwards as there are to many good ol boys with guns to subdue in order to keep the peace in a marshal law situation, but by abolishing the Constitution he could get his full outright ban on all firearms without the need for those pesky laws and such. This would also give him ultimate power as without rights who has the power to oppose him? He could declare himself King, Emperor, Grand Pooh-Bah, or any other majestic title he wants and without an armed uprising he would rule this nation for as long as he wanted. Now I know some of the cool aid drinkers out there are thinking that sounds like a grand idea, give our savior ultimate power to bring peace and love to this country, the downside is, should that happen it would usher in a new Civil War unlike anything seen in this countries history. I for one will not stand to see our Constitution shredded like so much useless paper, or our rights stripped away in the name of security, I will fight for my rights as a proud citizen of the greatest nation on earth. Pierce County Washington deputies shot a man to death after he tried to run them down. So what is the problem here? According to Detective Ed Troyer deputies were attempting to serve an arrest warrant for assault on a child on the shit bag in question. During a chase through Tacoma, the suspect ran several cars off the road clipping 3 in the process, when the did manage to stop him he attempted to run down two officers with his Ford Explorer, at this point both officers opened fire killing the man. To the officers I am sorry that you had to resort to using deadly force on this criminal fuck and hope that you are both able to deal with the guilt you will both feel over taking another’s life; however thank you for taking this piece of crap off the streets. Of course you know that this story will not end here the family of the deceased fuck up will no doubt start crying about police brutality and I am sure there will be a civil lawsuit against the deputies and the sheriffs office for wrongful death. With any luck the Sheriffs office will fight the suits and defend the actions of these two brave men as I can find no fault with their actions, they defended themselves from a man with a deadly weapon. The reason for this post isn’t the story itself it’s the way it was presented on the news website. Right in the middle of the page is a graphic of a Glock pistol, any time a gun is used be it for good or evil that graphic is used. Why didn’t they put up an SUV as that is the weapon used by the criminal in this case? It is all about perception; the more you connect the image of a gun with negative stories the more you can influence the sheeple into believing that guns are evil and cause crime. I will say it again saying guns cause crime is as stupid as saying cars cause drunk drivers. I would love to see the criminal record for the dead guy and see how many other arrests he had and how many times he had been in jail that way when his loving mother gets in front of the camera and cries about what a good boy he was and how he didn’t deserve to be gunned down by the evil deputies I can call bullshit, and point out that her dear boy was just another criminal piece of shit that needed to be locked in a cell for life before this happened. If you spend more than a second thinking about the details of the story you would see that the police were defending themselves from this fuck. Yet again the local news website ran a story that has pissed me off, shocking I know. A seventeen year old from Bend Oregon, has accepted an Alford plea to the negligent homicide of his mothers live in boyfriend. Now at the time of the incident the boyfriend’s blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit and the family claims that the killing was in self defense. I can paint a pretty accurate picture for you all of what happened on the night in question. The boyfriend get wasted with his buddies comes home drunk starts slapping the mother around when junior comes in to defend her with the only weapon he has available at the time which is a samurai sword, a fight ensues and alcoholic wife beater asshole ends up dead with a sword sticking out of his chest. The thing about this story that sets me off is the fact that this kid is going to spend the next seven years in prison without a trial. Why his lawyer ever agreed to this bullshit deal is beyond me, Jesus Christ a fucking retarded lobotomized gorilla could get this kid off, instead in a great example of liberal justice this kid gets 7 YEARS! Instead of prison time let’s give this kid a medal for defending himself and his family. Maybe Billy Shakespeare was right lets kill all the lawyers, these worthless fucks will work their asses off to get OJ acquitted of two counts first degree murder, yet some poor kid defending himself screw you your on your own. What the fuck is wrong with country? Every day you see news stories about rapists, murderers, drug dealers, and pedophiles getting weak sentences yet this kid gets 7 years because his lawyer is either A to stupid to defend him or B to lazy to do the job he is getting paid to do. The problem is the deal he got isn’t an admission of guilt but the evidence would probably lead to conviction, either way this kid was going to get screwed by our liberal justice system. The leaders of Enron shafted their employees out of their retirements and yet most of them got off scot free with millions and the ones that were convicted were sentenced to minimum security federal country clubs. Now if you go and rob a bank which isn’t much different you are taking money that isn’t yours, you will get several years in a penitentiary. How in the fuck is that justice? Martha Stewart commits a felony and spends six months in jail then goes right back to living high on the hog, this kid will be hard pressed to even find a real job when he finally gets out if he survives the sentence in the first place. Does anyone honestly think this kid is going to do ok in prison? This is such total bullshit that I cant believe that it is happening here in America, this is the kind of justice you would expect from a corrupt third world government, I wish our government would look at what’s going on and think about changing their ways. Residents of the Oaks apartments in Albany, Oregon have been told to remove any flags from their apartments and vehicles including the American flag or face eviction. I’ll give you a minute to let that sink in. The first thing that came to my mind when I first read that sentence is WTF, that can’t be right. But it is true according to the owners of the complex the policy is there to prevent people from other cultures from being offended, again WTF. If you come to this country and make a life here you don’t get to be offended when we fly Old Glory as a sign of respect and pride in our country, If I were to move my ass down to Mexico would they pull down their flag to keep from offending me? Fuck No, and why should they it’s their country and flag they can do whatever they want with it, same with any other country in the world. Why in the fuck should I have to curb my American pride to keep from offending some jackass that cant understand the simple fact that this is AMERICA and we fly our flag with pride, if you don’t like it then pack your shit up and take your ass back to whatever country you came from you are no longer welcome or wanted here. I am so tired of being told that being proud to be American is a bad thing, every year we have Gay pride, Mexican pride, Puerto Rican pride, and Irish pride, parades yet where is the American pride parade? The wife and I were having a discussion the other night about the way violence has been getting worse around our neighborhood, and as I watch the news it becomes increasingly clear that this is an alarming trend. From stabbings to beatings and shootings as the economy worsens the crime rate climbs. Now being raised in the country where pretty much every house is armed and every person knows how to shoot the guns kept in the house I didn’t have to worry about this kind of thing. I rarely locked the front door of my house until I moved to this liberal shitbox now every night the last thing I check before bed is the door lock, the left would have you believe that buy passing more gun bans and laws restricting gun ownership that the crime problem will just go away. I’m not sure what dream world these people live in but it is already illegal for felons to possess firearms. And yet how often are they arrested with a gun in their possession? You see criminals don’t follow the law that’s what makes them criminals, now I realize that seems too simple to you and I but my friends we haven’t been brainwashed by the liberal media to just accept what they say as fact we still believe in thinking for ourselves. The Swiss people are required to keep a firearm in their homes and they are required to train in its use on a yearly basis, their violent crime rate is pretty much 0, yet they call us the gun toting cowboys. The only problem we have here is touchy feely liberals that think all criminals can be rehabilitated back into society; anyone with more than one functioning brain cell can see that this really hasn’t worked as some people can’t be saved. I am all for helping someone turn their life around but when you have a repeat offender chances are he will commit a crime every time you let him out of prison. If these people really want to help society curb the crime rate they would have fewer restrictions on the law abiding citizen owning guns, but that would derail the liberal plan for disarming the populace and paving the way for them to take the rest of our freedoms from us and turn our once great nation into their liberal utopia. A recent conversation with a co-worker brought up an interesting point, if you want to see some of the most hate filled; bigoted, closed minded people look no further than your local house of worship. It doesn’t matter which deity they bow to hard core believers are the most intolerant people I have ever met. Far right Christians can be some of the worst of the bunch, if you do anything that does not fit their moral code they instantly start attacking you for you sins, while claiming to worship a man that said “love thy neighbor” and “judge not lest ye be judged yourself”. Hypocritical much? If these assholes spent a little more time reading the bible than thumping it maybe they would catch the lessons taught in that book. Who did Jesus spend most of his time with? The whores, lepers, criminals, and sinners, that’s who, they were the ones most in need of his teachings and these self righteous bastards will barely speak to anyone outside of their church. My favorite group out of them all is the God hates fags crew. These inbred fucks claim to be good Christian people yet they spew filth everywhere they go. How in the fuck can you claim to follow the teachings of Jesus and yet have such hatred in your hearts for another of Gods children? This is the same group that disrupts military funerals by shouting and protesting while another brave hero is laid to rest, just once I would like to see an accident with the honor guard performing the 21 gun salute take a few of these bastards out of the gene pool. I am an unabashed Hillbilly and not afraid to admit it. If you see me on the street on my days off chances are pretty high there is a gun somewhere on my person, I jumped through the hoops and got my hands on a concealed carry permit for the state I live in and I exercise my 2nd amendment rights any chance I get. Now living in liberal hell I am constantly questioned about this choice, the conversation is always the same, some people think I’m paranoid, others think I just want to shoot someone, and there are a few who think like I do that protecting myself and my family is the most important thing in the world. I refuse to be a willing victim and will do anything I have to too protect my family from harm. The last thing I ever want to do is shoot someone or fire my gun in anger but if some criminal fuck thinks he is going to harm me or mine the last thing he will see on this earth is the flash from the muzzle of my pistol. To that criminal just remember after you hear the loud noise walk towards the light and enjoy your eternity in hell. It amazes me how many people with wives and children don’t want to do whatever is necessary to protect their families; my first responsibility is the protection of those closest to me. Why anyone would choose to be an unarmed victim in today’s world is beyond me. One of the anti freedom crowds big arguing points is the number of gun accidents involving children, I find it reprehensible that they use someone’s tragedy to advance their agenda but when reason and logic don’t work use emotion. The major flaw in using this argument is the fact that all of these accidents are preventable. All it takes is a safe, if the kids cant get to the gun they can’t hurt themselves can they. Another option is teaching your children that guns are not toys and they are never ever to be handled unless there is an adult present and supervising them. How fucking hard is that to understand? I grew up around guns and there were no locks on any of them, the ammunition was readily available any time I wanted I could have picked them up and played with them, yet I have never had an accident with a gun. Why is that? Because my parents actually took their roles as parents seriously, taught me right from wrong and that there was a huge difference between my dart gun and the real thing. Shocking I know parents that did their job. The biggest problem today is parents using the XBOX as their babysitter and never spending any time with their kids to teach them anything. If these liberals had seen the way I grew up they would probably shit themselves and then have my parents thrown in jail for child endangerment. I have tried to have civil conversations with anti gun advocates and once their argument collapses under its own stupidity they resort to the age old line “I don’t think anyone needs to own an AK-47”. Once they hit that they stop listening to anything I say to protect themselves from actually having to think that their argument may be wrong. The truth is guns themselves are harmless lumps of metal and plastic. I have yet to see a gun stand up and shoot someone by itself but put it in the wrong hands and those hands will kill. It’s amazing that they always turn to the machine gun argument to combat reason. Machine guns haven’t been legal for civilian ownership since the thirties, yet the argument persists. The more freedoms you take from the citizens the more criminals you will create. When they outlaw guns I will become an outlaw, because when that day comes the government will take over everything and people like me will have to stand up and fight for your God given rights. All of the people that the anti freedom community shuns and wants to disarm will stand up and fight for the rights of all Americans whether they believe the way we do or not and that is what makes the gun owner the truest example of America there is. Over the weekend a bus carrying 49 students of American Fork Utah High School Band rolled over killing one of the instructors. Why do I mention this? This weekend also saw King Obama handed the Nobel Peace Prize, and every news outlet was flooded with stories and pictures of his eminence accepting that farce of an award, yet 33 year old Heather Christensen died trying to save her students when the driver of the bus lost control. Why was this story put on the back burner for Obama getting some worthless award that he doesn’t deserve? According to students on the bus when the driver lost control Ms. Christensen tried to grab the wheel and avoid the crash but was thrown out the window when the bus rolled, so here we have a true hero doing something to save lives and the news outlets ignore her story to put more shots of El Jefe in front of viewers, hasn’t this jackass taken over enough of our lives? I realize that most of the mainstream media outlets are run by liberal sycophants and democratic yes men but for fucks sake this woman died to save her kids and yet who gets all the coverage? The way this country is going right before he uses the Constitution to wipe his ass the sheeple will anoint Obama the second coming of Jesus. What will it take for the sheeple to wake up and see that his prominence is fucking us over and selling our freedoms to the highest bidder? The government now has their hands in the banks, the auto industry, and soon will be taking over health care. I thought the idea behind electing this guy was to help this country get back on track through change isn’t that what he promised? In what will become known as an obviously good decision by the left wing nuts, the Nobel committee has awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize to President Barack Obama. I have to wonder what El Jefe has done to deserve this great honor that so many others have worked so hard to achieve. Here we are ten months into his presidency and there has been little or no reduction to the armed forces serving in Iraq, he is calling for additional troops to be sent into Afghanistan and North Korea and Iran are still working towards obtaining nuclear weapons. So what exactly has he done to be worthy of such an honor? The committee that selected him claims it is because of his stand on nuclear proliferation, international diplomacy, and global climate change. Now let’s break that down and take a look at what his highness has done in these areas so far. We will start with nuclear weapons, since the invention of the first atomic bomb all nations have wanted to poses the destructive power of nuclear weapons, as of right now the two largest stockpiles of these weapons are in the US and the U.S.S.R, there have been multiple talks and summits on lowering the amount of weapons each side has, Obama and Russian President Dmitry Medvedev have agreed that there needs to be a reduction in the amount of delivery systems and warheads possessed by each country. Yet neither side has done a damn thing to reduce the numbers, and still nothing has been done to stop North Korea or Iran from continuing their development of said weapons. Now the left wingers will start telling me how wrong I am and that the UN is working to stop both NK, and Iran and that a diplomatic solution can be found. To this I say BULLSHIT. You can not reason with a madman, ask Jim Jones, Charles Manson, Adolf Hitler, or Josef Lennon, they all thought they were doing the right thing to and look how that turned out. Moving on to international diplomacy his biggest accomplishment to date has been to travel around the world bowing down to kiss the ass of every little puissant leader he can find and apologize greatly for the actions of America in the last eight years. Actions that have kept this country from being hit by another terrorist attack like 9/11. It is very hard for terrorists to come here and cause destruction when they are to busy diving for cover from a hail of bullets, I don’t agree with every action GWB took but I can’t argue with the results. Let’s take a look back and see how we got where we are today. During the first Bush administration we had a small skirmish in the Middle East called dessert storm. We led the way for a UN force to go in and stop Saddam Hussein from taking over Kuwait; this was after of course the UN sanctions and strongly worded letters failed to do a damned bit of good. Once that was over we left Hussein in power thinking that the UN would keep a tighter leash on him, WRONG. After the war President Bush’s popularity fell and during the next election the people decided that new leadership was needed and here comes the Clinton years. During his eight year reign of incompetence Bill Clinton managed to screw tings up across the board. He signed into law the Brady Bill which was a sweeping ban on assault weapons that did absolutely nothing to stem gun violence in fact during the time that law was in effect this country saw more mass school shootings than at any other time in history. Also during Mr. Clinton’s tenure the World Trade Center was hit on three separate occasions buy terrorist bombs, and domestic terrorism saw a severe increase in frequency and violence, from abortion doctors murdered to the Oklahoma City bombing. Bill Clinton did achieve great status around the world for his diplomatic skills as like the UN he was all strong words and weak actions, He showed the world that America was weak and would do nothing to strike back and defend herself. Then GW Bush gets elected and shortly into his first term the worst terrorist incident in American history happens. Four jumbo jet aircraft are high jacked and used as guided missiles to hit the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington D.C. the fourth plane crashed in a field in PA before reaching its final unknown destination. Over Three thousand Americans were murdered that day, and the world waited to see what would happen next, would the reaction be to turn the other cheek like the Clintons or would this new leader do something else? Well he did something else something that hadn’t been done since the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941; he struck back with military force, putting America back on the DO NOT FUCK WITH list. The simple fact is now that the powers that be have given King Obama this great honor what they are really saying to all the past winners that actually worked to achieve their award is SCREW YOU. I truly hope that this award is a call to action, a call for every freedom loving red blooded American to really look at what is going on in this country and when the next elections roll around to vote for change again, a change back to the principles that make this the greatest nation on earth. I found a poll on one of the local news channel websites that posed an interesting question, “What should the U.S. do about Iran’s nuclear program?” Now my feelings are fairly well known on this subject, but the interesting thing about this poll was the current results, 37% say join other nations in imposing strict sanctions, 26% want an immediate military strike on the facilities, 20% demand that the program end or face military action, 10% say work with IAEA to monitor the program, and last but not least 8% responded with DO NOTHING! What the hell is wrong with this country? Have we learned nothing over the last forty years? Sanctions and strong words have absolutely no effect because these countries have learned that we will not back up any threat with action. It has become painfully clear that I do not belong in this area as it is a liberal Hell and I am in the vast minority, the way I think and act is looked down upon by pretty much every person I come in contact with. But it does have the advantage of showing me where I stand on the conservative liberal scale. For the record I say bomb the place out of existence before they construct a working nuclear weapon. Now I know that in this brave new world of change that has been ushered in we are supposed to talk out all of the problems of the world and show peace and love to our neighbors, to this I say BULLSHIT, the only thing that course of action shows is just how weak willed we as a country have become. Do none of our glorious leaders remember how we ended World War two; we dropped not one but two atomic bombs on Japan. After that no one wanted to fuck with us. Why you may ask, because we showed the world that we had the will to use any means necessary to stop threats to our freedoms. Unfortunately as the years have gone by our leadership has become weak and fairly ineffective at defending our freedoms and ideals. This country was founded on the idea of immigration we were to be the great melting pot come to America where you are free to worship the deity of your choice without fear of prejudice, where you can be anything you want if you are willing to work for it, an people came they learned English and worked hard and created new lives for themselves with no handouts from the government. Today it is a completely different story no we cater to everyone else’s needs, cant speak English that’s ok we will teach your children in their language rather than inconvenience them by making them learn English, cant read English, that’s ok we will spend millions printing out foreign language textbooks for you. Several years ago I decided to go to college to better myself and provide a better life for my family, I went into the guidance counselor’s office and asked about financial aid and the woman at the desk almost fell out of her chair she was laughing so hard. You see folks I am an employed, able bodied white male which disqualifies me for financial aid, yet if I were any other race or gender I could easily get government help for college. People say racism is on the decline and use our new president as evidence, and I agree that it is in decline, but as long as organizations like the UNCF, NAACP, ACORN, and a host of others are allowed to exist racism will never go away. The United Negro College Fund is one of the most racist organizations in the world, in my opinion it ranks right up there with the Ku Klux Klan. Why do I say this? Let me tell you why. If I were to start a college fund that only helped out people like me working white males that make to much money to qualify for financial aid yet not enough to actually pay for college I would be vilified as a racist as bad as Hitler himself. Yet the UNCF will only give money to minorities they need to hang a sign on the door of their offices that says NO WHITES ALLOWED. No you tell me how that isn’t a racist organization. The same people that tolerate and embrace this kind of thinking are the same ones that embrace this pussified outlook on foreign policy, these people who have helped elect weak leadership year after year are doing more damage to our country than any terrorist organization could ever dream of. If El Jefe really wants change he should start by showing the world that fucking with the United States is the last mistake you will ever make. And the way to accomplish that is to destroy the nuclear facilities that Iran and North Korea have constructed. It is a truly sad day for music fans legendary musician/inventor Les Paul passed away. Where are all of the tributes to this great man? We idolize a genetic freak like Michael Jackson yet when a decent human being passes on we ignore him as if he never existed, maybe if he had molested a couple of little boys more people in the media would care. It is a truly sad state of affairs when child molesting drug addicts are held in higher regard than truly talented people like Mr. Paul. Among his contributions to the music industry are the solid body electric guitar and multi track studio recording, Gibson Guitars originally turned down his first solid body design claiming it was to large and heavy and that no one would buy it, then along came Leo Fender with his Esquire design which sold like crazy. After that Gibson came back and asked for a revised design this in turn became the Les Paul that would go on to make music history. This is the kind of person that all of the music and entertainment outlets should be honoring with hours of specials not the freak MJ it makes me sick to see how the sheeple flock to stories of drug addictions and arrests and yet when someone does something innovative its ignored and the freak shows are given more airtime. Just look at the amount of airtime that has been spent talking about what a tragedy MJ's loss was or the time wasted on Lindsey Lohans multiple trips to rehab. My question is WHO THE FUCK CARES, what have these people really contributed to the world of music? In his defense before Michael Jackson truly went off the deep end he did give us the Thriller album but that's about it, for fucks sake. I get so tired of hearing about the problems in all of these celebrities lives and how unhappy they are WTF, you have more money than your grandchildren could ever possibly spend and you claim that your unhappy with the way your life is going, FUCK YOU ALL. If you are so unhappy with your life than change it take your money and your fame and try doing something worthwhile for a change rather than going from club to club and then bitching about the poparazzi that you knew would be there. I honestly believe that most of these so called celebrities would be doing the world a favor if they just took themselves out of the gene pool. Coming from the Great Northwest i grew up with Nirvana, now most of the people that grew up here swear that this was a great band I however am not one of those mindless drones. I think that Kirk Cobain was an untalented hack, his songwriting was crap, his guitar playing was crap, and his attitude toward everything was crap. Have you ever actually listened to any of their albums most of the time he was so whacked out on drugs his lyrics come out as unintelligible mumbles, the only member of that band with any talent was Dave Grohl, and he has moved on to bigger and better things. Recently I pulled up a local news channels website to check out what was going on in the world around me, while browsing the stories I came across one about a woman that died after she fell off of her husbands Harley. My heart goes out to the husband and family of the deceased this man lost his partner, spouse, and best friend all at the same time. After I finished the story I started reading the comments from the public and this is where my anger really got fired up. Spread liberally throughout the comment section the anti biker crowd had spread their hate filled bullshit blaming this poor man for killing his wife by riding on of those death machines and blaming bikes for every death involving a motorcycle. I got news for you genetic rejects; eight out of ten accidents involving a motorcycle are caused by fucktard cage drivers like you. I have lost count of the number of times I have almost been hit by someone driving a car and not paying any attention to what is going on around them the only thing that save my life is the fact that my motorcycle is far more nimble and maneuverable than any car. You people think that because you spent obscene amounts of money for your luxury SUV (i.e. hideously expensive and useless station wagon) you own the fucking roads and no longer have to watch out for anyone else because we will be so in awe of your penile replacement that we will move out of your way. FUCK YOU ALL, take the keys to your piece of shit ride and shove them up your ass. How many times have you seen somebody driving down the road looking at their goddamn cell phone instead of the road in front of them? Instead of giving the cockbiters a ticket arrest them for reckless endangerment. Another comment I saw on the site claims that all bikers ride around speeding and driving recklessly now it is true that there are some guys that do this but you have morons in every group the vast majority of bikers myself included are far more careful than any of the barge pilots around us. I know that since I started riding I have become a better driver overall the practice I get watching out for all of your fuckers has helped me immensely. Now I will admit that motorcycles are more dangerous than cars, but the biggest dangers to all bikers are cars and their idiot drivers. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the deceased and my anger and hatred goes out to the fucktards that blame the husband or the bike for this accident. If you raise the taxes on the rich or the corporations the jobs that this country desperatly needs are going to disapeer faster than a virgin on prom night, yet if you raise the taxes on the working class they will have no money left to buy the goods being produced by those same corporations. Here is an idea now it might seem a bit radicle but here me out. Wait for the next term. Get this country back on its feet and then start the conversion to the USSA. I seem to recall a speach in which it was said that the middle class would not see a major tax increase yet how wlse will he pay to provide insurance for the millions of illeagles that will flock to this plan. This country is being fed exd straight to hell and his Holiness is driving the damn truck and yet the majority of the sheeple in this country still adore him. Had Bush put this plan forth at this time they would have stoned him in the street, what the fuck is wrong with you people? Our elected officials cannot keep this up forever sooner or later someone has to send them a message that says simply STOP. As if we needed more evidence that King Obama is an elitist prick that doesn’t give a shit about the working families that put him in power, along comes his cap and trade program. This is nothing more than a tax foisted onto the lower income working families meant to appease the liberal eco terrorist bunny fuckers. Here is how it works in order to reduce greenhouse emissions this plan states that the corporations that live and die by using fossil fuels must purchase the right to produce emissions from the government, with the added cost comes more job cuts and higher prices for services such as electricity. If you look at the break down the lower income brackets are getting hit with a %3.3 decrease in their after tax income the middle class will see between 2.7 to 2.9% decrease while the Rich will get tagged with a 1.7% increase. Yet again another case where the rich get richer and the rest of us get fucked. The major supporters of this plan all come from the highest brackets and all from California or the Northeast. The states that will be hardest hit are those that rely on manufacturing or power generation for jobs, especially hard hit will be the states that rely heavily on coal for power. Tell me again about the change we were supposed to get by electing this prick. This is ridiculous in less than a year this man has managed to drive the national debt to record levels, cost millions of Americans their jobs, and yet the public adores him WTF.
For those of you thinking that I dislike our president because he is black I am stating here and now, “I don’t care about his color, he could be yellow with pink polka dots and I would still dislike the direction he is taking my country.” The way I see it we let an inexperienced person have the most powerful seat in the world on his claim that he was going to bring change to Washington. Well I will give him this he has brought change, but is it a change we as the American people can survive? When the founding fathers drafted the US Constitution they put in several tools for we the people to use to protect this great nation from tyranny. Maybe it is time to put them to use. I am calling upon all true American to write their congressman, senators, local elected officials, and even the president himself and tell them that we will not stand for this. The primary role of the president is to protect the US from all threats foreign and domestic not become one himself. Neither is it his job to bow down to the rest of the world and beg forgiveness for things that we have done when they could not do it themselves. The Obama administration has just overturned a bush plan to expand logging in western Oregon which would have brought jobs and money to areas that are severely hurting at this time. The weakness both the US and the UN have shown the world over the last several years is the reason dictatorships like Iran and North Korea have felt emboldened to flaunt the laws so flagrantly. Our new president is going to carry on the same path that the Clintons started paving for him. The big question I have for the bunny huggers is this where does it stop? What next stop spraying to keep the rampant mosquito populations in check? Let the rats run free again to spread typhoid and bubonic plague. The world will never be rid of flies, rats, mosquitoes, or other vermin because they breed too quickly. Our government has access to the best spy networks in the world from the Israeli Mossad to the British SAS to our very own CIA why don’t we put these resources to work and find the North Korean nuclear sights and flatten them before the little madman pushes the big red button and obliterates Hawaii. Reports from the intelligence community point to a new long range missile test on or around the fourth of July I lay even odds this is to test their ability to strike at the US the closest target is the Hawaiian Islands. The UN has proven themselves to be utterly useless in dealing with the problem big surprise there they will do what they always do wait for the US to deal with the problem then complain about how we went about doing the job that needed done. Our government under the guise of keeping people safe has decided to try a sneak attack on our basic rights and freedoms only this time they are not going after the guns no this time it’s the knife. US Customs and Border Protection (CPB) has decided that it is time to revise their definition of just what a switchblade really is; under the new definition any assisted opening knife could be considered a switchblade. Ok fair enough but it doesn’t stop their like all things done by the government if its worth doing its worth completely screwing the public to get it done. Other things that would fall under the new guidelines are one handed opening knives and most forms of pocketknife in production today. What they are doing is taking a carbon copy of European laws and slapping them on us. Now that several European countries have out right bans on handguns knife crimes have been steadily on the rise so to prevent that from happening here they have decided to try and outlaw our knives and do it by sneaking a ban in through the bathroom window. I am used to having to defend my rights as a gun owner but this is really getting ridiculous, now they are saying that I am to stupid or to violent to use a simple tool. Human’s ability to create and use tools is what let us raise to the top of the food chain in the first place what next ban rope to keep people from hanging themselves? Everyday in this country more people are killed in car accidents than by knife wounds so where is the ban on cars? On the other side of the argument this could also be a way to deter criminals from invading our homes would you break into someone’s house knowing there is a higher probability of them being armed? In case you needed more evidence that the inmates are running the asylum, last week North Korea detonated a nuclear device in an underground test. This in itself is bad enough, but when you add in the fact that in the last several months they have tested both long and medium range missiles you can see a very scary situation developing here. So what have our glorious leaders decided to do about this? Go to the UN and ask for tighter sanctions on North Korea. Now we have all seen the effect these sanctions have had which is absolutely no effect whatsoever. A nightmare scenario is developing right before our very eyes and no one wants to do a damn thing about it. What we have here is a power mad dictator with nuclear weapons and missiles that can hit targets throughout the region. Does anybody else see the problem here? The tested weapon is said to be as powerful as the bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world has seen the devastation that weapons of that magnitude can cause, not just from the initial blast but also from the effects that radiation has on the populace years later, just ask the people of Chernobyl about that. My question for our leaders is what are you doing about this issue and why hasn’t it been dealt with already. The answer folks is yet again to run screaming to the Useless Nations. Clearly this latest violation of international law proves that the UN sanctions are worthless. I have never checked the prices but I am pretty sure that weapons grade material is fairly expensive and hard to procure not to mention illegal as hell. Yet nothing will come of this but more talk and no action. One plan from our government is to intercept ships suspected of hauling nuclear cargo, the announcement of South Koreas involvement in this plan led the North to release a statement that says if any North Korean ships are stopped they will consider it an act of war. For those that don’t know the Korean War is still going on there has never been a formal treaty between the two countries. That is why we still have 25,000 troops stationed in South Korea, and why they are going to stay there for the foreseeable future. Letting the North Koreans have nukes is a monumentally stupid idea they hate the South Korea, Japan, and the US, the missiles they have already tested can reach both South Korea and Japan. How long till they build one that can reach the US? If the world leaders keep refusing to pull their heads out of their asses we may find out when it is too late to stop it. Reality Crap or Where are you Donald Bellisario

It's upfront week for the big networks what this means is all of the big TV networks announce their fall lineups to the advertisers, telling them what stays and what goes and what is coming up. Today Fox announced that Terminator: the Sarah Conner chronicles is officially dead, yet we will get yet another year of are you smarter than a fifth grader and American Karaoke huzzah. There was a time when scripted dramas and sitcoms ruled the nighttime airwaves, now its all about "reality" and crap game shows. My main complaint is the quality of these so called reality shows is crap there is nothing real about any of them, if you want to watch reality TV switch on discovery and watch the deadliest catch, there is nothing real about survivor or American idol. When AI started I liked the premise of the show and although I disliked Simon I could put up with his bullshit, now however its all about showing the worst applicants for the first several weeks just so we can here Simon tear them apart week after week. Not only is his input not helpful to the contestants its flat out mean spirited and at least in my opinion not funny. My wife used to enjoy watching Americas next top model and I would watch it with her from time to time one thing I noticed in the earlier cycles of that show was that the judges always gave constructive criticism they did not try and tear the girls down but gave them tips on how to be a better model. This is something that you wont find the judges of AI doing. Sadly for my wife the last two sessions of ANTM have started to slide into the mold of AI they no longer concentrate on the modeling or the fashion but more on the cat fights between the girls which get old really fast, in the earlier cycles there would always be one real bitch in the group and now they are all bitches it has gotten so bad that my wife stopped watching the show. It is to bad really as she had been a loyal follower for the last several years and now refuses to watch. I know several people that watch every season of survivor and yet I cant stand the show, when it first started years ago I again liked the premise but like every other reality show it just went down hill instead of making these people survive in the remote location of the day its all about who is the best backstabbing piece of crap this time. Here is my idea for a reality show take twelve people that have grown up in overgrown urban centers like LA or NYC and drop them by helicopter into a remote area of the cascade mountains with enough supplies to last them a month or two and the winner is the last person to quit and go home. As an added bonus we could also make these people hunt for their food and see how long it takes them to actually get something to eat. I realize that this would eliminate those of us that grew up in rural areas and actually know how to survive in the woods but I have a solution to that to. Take a dozen country folk and stick them in the middle of Manhattan and the winner is the last person to go insane and walk out. Most people that grew up in the country stay there because they like the lifestyle it offers I know I miss the quiet country life I used to have. Another problem shows like American Idol has caused is if a new series doesn't instantly draw huge ratings its dropped look at what happened to Firefly, Drive, New Amsterdam, Moonlight, Jericho, the list goes on and on all of these shows were well written and had great potential and several of them had big followings yet with the exception of Jericho none of them made a full season before being canceled. Of the above mentioned shows Firefly is the biggest travesty, not only did fox cancel the show before its first season was finished they doomed it to fail from the outset. When the project was first given the green light Joss Whedon mad a two hour pilot that was the perfect opening for a new series, yet the morons running Fox decided that they didn't like it and made him redo the pilot so what was supposed to be the second episode suddenly becomes your introduction. If that wasn't bad enough the programming Nazis at fox then proceeded to run the rest of the series out of order move the show from time slot to time slot and then pre-empted it for several weeks to show baseball. All in all they made sure that this great show failed miserably and left we the fans of Firefly with only one thirteen episode season to remember it by. Drive didn't even get that far before they dropped it lasted just four episodes and then disappeared forever. The heads of fox claimed that 24's ratings were slipping due to the poor lead in from drive to this I say BULLSHIT. the reason the ratings for 24 were dropping was because the show is tired and needs to be put down. Yet as they announced today 24 is coming back for another season of Jack Baurs' shitty life, along with more reality crap. Its a truly sad indicator of this society that shows like Survivor, American Idol, So you think you can dance, and all other "reality shows" do so well, in stead of watching these people have these great adventures why don't you go out and have one of your own. Stop being a lazy bastard and go camping or hit up your local karaoke bar and sing a song or two, be your own idol. The only good news coming out of the Fox upfront meeting was that both Dollhouse and Lie to me were renewed for a second season hooray for scripted television. Bring back the scripted series and leave the reality crap on the cutting room floor, its time we took TV back from the marketing snakes and got our shows back, where is Donald Bellisario when you need him. Something that just Pisses me off

Lets talk about another subject that pisses me off, drunk driving. Everyday in this country people are killed by some asshole that thinks he can drive even though he has put away a case of beer, why do we let this happen again and again. If you look at the statistics of alcohol related accidents you will find that the majority of them were caused by a repeat offender, someone who has been arrested for DUI before. Why on earth is this person still on the street? I remember a time in college when I was taking an English class, so of course I had to write several papers for the class. One of the papers I wrote was based on my experience as an EMT in the state of Washington and it involved an accident caused by a drunk driver. The way the class worked we did a peer review system in which all the other members of the class had to read and critique my paper on of the students was a teenage female when she saw what my paper was about she tossed it down and said she couldn't read it because her friend had just been killed in a drunk driving accident. I asked her if he was the drunk driver and she said yes, I then asked if anyone else had been hurt, she said no and I replied in my oh so gentle manner well at least he did it right and only killed himself. She was livid and demanded an apology which I refused to give, I will not apologize for my opinion of drunks who get behind the wheel and kill themselves which is good fucking riddance. Why should I feel sorry for these people the risks of driving while intoxicated are well documented yet they did it anyway. I feel sorry for the victims that these morons injure or kill by being stupid bastards. If you feel the need to drive drunk do the world a favor and put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger it will get the job done quicker and you will only take your own worthless ass out of the gene pool. I believe that killing someone while driving drunk should be a capital offense where the death penalty is a viable punishment for the offenders. Think about it the person involved plans on going out drinking, then knowing that he is to impaired to drive gets behind the wheel next thing you know he is in the hospital and someone else is in the morgue. that is pre meditated murder, at the very least murder two with a punishment of life in prison without parole. I have nothing against drinking by all mean drink up but in today's world you cant tell me that you don't have options for getting home from your night on the town. Most cities have multiple forms of public transportation, be they light rail, busses, trolley cars, or the ever present taxi. pick one if that doesn't work for you call a friend, find a designated driver or if all else fails drink at home. If you throw a party at your house make sure that your guests have a plan to get home safely or have them crash at your place. Just stay the hell off the roads. I spent the better part of ten years as an emt in Washington and during that time I saw a number of DUI accidents one of these is still on my nightmare play list to this day. it always ends the same way to, with a little girl in a pink dress covered in her own blood, all because four people had a party and one of them thought he could drive turns out he couldn't. We as a society need to put a stop to this through stricter laws, harsher penalties for offenders, or simply enforcing the laws we have I don't know but it needs to stop. Ballistic Therapy

Two weeks ago my buddy Hobbit and I loaded up my truck and headed for the sticks for something I call ballistic therapy, now you may be wondering what the hell that means, well I am going to tell you. As you go through your day to day life you have stress, stress from your job, your relationships, your kids, whatever an it all adds up. The question is how do you relieve that stress? It could be exercise, alcohol, fishing, video games, or any number of other ways for me a day out shooting with friends does the job. Now on this particular day we had to venture out to unknown territory as our usual spot has been closed to the public for the summer, after a bit of driving and some confusion we found a great spot to set up and start our day. One of things I noticed as I got out of the truck was the people that had been there before us were complete pigs, there was trash everywhere empty beer cans, leftover targets, water bottles you name it the place was a mess. Now I don't mind the targets as they are made of paper and will break down with the rain we get here, but the bottles and cans won't. After getting the weapons ready hobbit and I grabbed our target stand, which consisted of a cardboard box, some targets and a roll of duck tape to hold it all together found a nice backstop and set up. We proceeded to blast our stress out with a variety of ballistic instruments from .45s to ar-15s all in all it was a successful session. Now I can hear you thinking, "Hillbilly how does this help relieve stress?" The answer to that is simple, having to concentrate on the proper shooting technique helps focus your mind on something other than what is going on in your life, and the simple satisfaction of putting steel on target bleeds off the stress that has built up over time. We went through a couple hundred rounds of ammo during our session and yet other than a few cans, bottles, and one very unfortunate box no one man, or beast was injured. afterwards we collected our trash and packed up the truck had I known what we were going to find when we got there I would have brought along a few trash bags to clean the place up a bit. It pisses me off to no end to have to clean up after a bunch of slobs but if we want to be able to continue using the area someone has to clean it up. Many public sites have been shut down due to excessive trash being left behind, we as firearms enthusiasts have to start taking responsibility for our actions, we need to start cleaning up after ourselves. Something I am thankful for is that the people that were drinking and shooting weren't there alcohol and guns are a very dangerous combination. If you all decide to try ballistic therapy remember one of the key rules SHOOT SOBER, or you to could become just another statistic for the anti freedom crowd. And please remember to clean up after yourself, leaving your crap behind just gives the eco Nazis more ammunition to use against we the outdoorsmen. Well after saying all this by blood pressure is starting to rise I think another trip is in order. But what the Hell do I know I am just an angry Hillbilly.

Gun safety for children or stupid housemates.

Last week my wife and I were watching the local comedy (news) broadcast when they ran a story about an old man that had accidentally shot himself with a gun his son had given him for protection, after the story ran my wife brought up an interesting argument, she said that with the economy the way it is and crime on the rise more people are buying guns for protection and yet most of these proud new gun owners never learn how to use the gun they bought. Now I can't fault her logic on this one but I can expand upon it. If you have read any of my previous posts you will know that I am a gun owner and I believe that all citizens of this great nation should be gun owners, a gun can give a weak person great power but as the great wise man Ben Parker once said "with great power comes great responsibility." Just what are the responsibilities of being a gun owner? One, learn and understand just how your new gun operates, two learn and understand how to operate your new gun safely, and three teach your children how your gun works and that it is NOT a toy. I grew up with guns in the house everything from small pocket pistols to great big hunting rifles, and yet in my last thirty one years of walking around this funny world I have never had an accidental discharge. Now you may be asking yourself "but hillbilly how is that possible?" My father and my brother both taught me well the rules of gun safety which are quite simple. Rule #1 all guns are always loaded all the time! If you pick up a gun that YOU haven't checked its loaded period. Rule #2 Never Ever point a gun at something you don't want to destroy. Rule #3 Always know what is beyond your target. And for those of you with kids or really stupid housemates Rule #4 Never use a gun without proper adult supervision. Now I could go on and give a few more common sense rules but if you follow these simple rules at all times you should be alright, they have always worked for me. I can hear the questions already, "Is it really as simple as that? The news makes guns out to be dangerous no matter who you are." Yes folks it really is that simple, if you treat every gun as if it is loaded you should never have to utter the words "I didn't think it was loaded” Now I realize that the anti freedom community wants you to believe that guns are dangerous evil creations but that is just not the case, In the hands of a safe responsible shooter guns are no more dangerous than a pen. It is not the gun that is the danger it is the human holding it that is the dangerous element. How many stories do you hear about kids getting their hands on dads gun and killing themselves or on of their friends? Why was the kid playing with the thing in the first place? When I was a child I was taught that guns were off limits without my dad or oldest brother around to supervise. This was damn near the eleventh commandment in our house, and because of this I never shot myself or any of my friends and there wasn't a trigger lock in sight. If you truly want to know how to keep your kids safe around guns teach them in a responsible manner. If you just tell them no you can’t touch that, or that's bad don't touch kids will get curious and wait till your not looking and that's when tragedy strikes. Now I am a believer in the gun safe and I feel it is your responsibility as a gun owner to keep your guns out of children's hands but if you are stupid enough to leave a gun out and you haven't taught your children not to play with it don't blame the gun for your stupidity. By federal law all new firearms must be sold with a locking device of some type and the majority of these do work there are some that don’t but most do however it is all to easy for a criminal to steal your gun bust the lock and go on to cause havoc and mayhem with your gun, the answer to this is simple buy a gun safe. Time and time again the anti freedom crowd exploits the tragedies of families that have lost a child to accidental gunshots to advance their own agenda, and the sheeple of this country let them do it. Instead of wasting money passing more ineffective laws how about we spend that money o help educate more people about gun safety, oh wait that makes sense so obviously we can’t do that. If these people really gave a shit they would preach safety not outright bans. Bu what the Hell do I know I am just an angry Hillbilly.

Cyclists and Pedestrins or Hood ornaments

If you pay any attention at all to the local news her in the Portland Metro area (Liberal Hell) you might have noticed the increase in pedestrian/Bicycle vs. Car accidents. Every time a car hits a cyclist or a pedestrian there is a great uproar about the safety of our roads and how drivers need to learn to share the roads, and to a point this is true we as drivers do need to share the road with pedestrians and cyclists, but they to need to learn to share. On many occasions I have watched cyclists ignore traffic laws such as stoplights, yielding to pedestrians, and giving proper right of way, yet if one of these morons runs a red light in front of me and I hit him I am instantly at fault even though he broke the law. According to the Oregon DMV bicycles must follow the same traffic laws that cars do, and still I see cyclists everyday that run reds and cut drivers off, and they yell at us to share the road. Where I live in Oregon is very bike friendly most of the roads in the cities have bike lanes for cyclists to use and the cops will ticket you for encroaching on them. I have no problems with this system in theory, but in practice the cyclists hug the line between their lane and mine if I can get a ticket for driving in their lane shouldn't the opposite be true also? Drive through the middle of Hillsboro on any given day and you will see cars slowing down to pass a cyclist the is riding on the very edge of a bike lane and impeding the flow of traffic for everyone. Its just a little insane to me, if you are on a bicycle that weighs maximum 50 pounds why in the hell are you trying to get closer to a lane of traffic where the average car weighs a minimum of 2000 pounds? In a collision you the cyclist have absolutely no chance of winning the war of the lug nuts. The laws of physics state that (force = mass * acceleration) so your little aluminum and steel contraption will do far less damage to the car than the car will do to you.
Now that I have beaten that horse lets move on to the other group I mentioned earlier the pedestrian. Lets start with a true story. Last week as I was driving my truck to work I noticed the jogger going down the sidewalk in the same direction that I was heading that's fine right? WRONG! As I rolled up to a major intersection the light had changed from red to green some time before so I started into my turn when the jogger from earlier ran right out in FRONT OF MY TRUCK!! Now here is where the real problem comes into play, I drive a red 1977 GMC 4 wheel drive truck with a big gas hog V8 engine my truck is neither quiet nor small yet this snapper head was completely oblivious to my presence until I locked up all four tires and scared the crap out of him. Luckily for the jogger I trust no one on the road and expected him to ignore the bright red DON'T WALK sign across the street, I can already tell you why he missed the fact that I was even there. Like most of the world his sheepness had his IPOD plugged into his ears and could not hear what was going on around him. It is either that or I really need to find and disengage the romulan cloaking device on that truck. I don't know about you but my parents taught me to stop and look both ways before crossing the street, they also taught me not to ride/walk along busy roads with headphones in. This guys parents must have encouraged him to play in the street or something. When my wife and I go out walking which we do on a frequent basis we are always careful to watch for traffic and obey the crosswalk signs as they are there for our safety. If these groups want drivers to share the roads maybe just maybe they should think about sharing the roads themselves. But what the Hell do I know I am just an angry Hillbilly.

In a fantastic waste off money and resources Multnomah County Chair Ted Wheeler has decided that a new position is needed. The ne job which will pay between $60-70k per year is wait for it,,,,,,,,, Chair's Office Communication Director/Multnomah County Social Media Coordinator. That’s right folks their whole job will be to update websites like twitter, facebook, Myspace, and other social networking sites. WTF? We need to pay someone $70K for something millions of teenagers do everyday for free. Is this really the best use off tax dollars in today’s economy? This is just more proof that our government officials have lost their fucking minds. When will this kind of governMENTAL bullshit stop? This state is already reeling with one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation, and the solution is to create 1 job that is going to pay way more than its worth. The vast majority off crap put out on the social sites will taxpayer funded campaign bullshit so of course the sitting officials think this is a great idea, no challenger is going to get a fair shot if this truly does go through. What a load of crap we really need to send our governmental officials during the next election, I think its time for a whole new crop of morons to be planted in public office, at least in Oregon. Journalistic Integrity My ASS!!!

I find it strange that when you watch the nightly news you hear story after story about gun crimes, yet you never hear stories about how an armed citizen stopped a crime. There are no stories about the millions of rounds fired in competition every year where no one gets hurt, no video of target shooters spending a day with their families having fun and being safe, just story after story after story of people using guns to hurt others or themselves. What happened to the idea of journalistic integrity? When did the mass media sell out to the anti gun crowd and why? Its sad to think that at one time you could trust the people on the TV to give you the news as it truly happened not the way they want it to sound. Do gun crimes happen every day? Yes they do, that is a truly sad fact of life in today's world but before guns violent crimes happen with other weapons.
Blaming guns, gun makers, and gun owners for crime is ridiculous. Do you blame Ford and GM for car accidents, or Boing for plane crashes? No we first look at human error than equipment failure, in a rare instance the manufacturer will be at fault but that is a very rare case. But when it comes to gun crimes it is the fault of those damned evil guns. Correct me if I am wrong but a gun is just an inanimate object that can do nothing on its own not unlike say a CAR. Other than the movies Maximum Overdrive and Christine, I cant think of a time when a car started itself and ran somebody over all on its own, they require a bit of assistance. A gun sitting on a table loaded will not just shoot random people, it to needs assistance. While we are at it lets blame the alcohol industry for alcoholism and the porn industry for a rise in carpel tunnel in teenage males, it doesn't make sense.
I am a responsible gun owner and have been for many years and I have NEVER, NEVER had a gun go off unless I pulled the trigger. I have never entertained even the thought of going out and shooting random people just because I was pissed off, I actually use shooting to relieve stress as having to concentrate on the basics of safe shooting will help take my mind off the stresses in my life. Where are the news crews now? I had a conversation some time ago with an acquaintance and they told me that after their children were born they decided that they would have no guns in the house. Good for you if that's how you want to live your life than go and live happy, I however will continue to have guns in my house and my children will be taught to respect them and how to use them RESPONSIBLY. That is the key here responsible use its not hard to teach and it is a valuable lesson to teach all children in my opinion.
Where are the news crews when an armed citizen stops a rapist by shooting him, or stops a man from killing his domestic partner? Why are all gun owners painted as uneducated barbaric inbreds from the Ozarks? The media today has traded in their integrity for money, and that's just the way the anti freedom movement wants it. It will be far easier to disarm this country if all you hear on the TV is guns are evil, guns kill children, hell lets blame guns for AIDS, cancer, and the swine flu while were at it. Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than all my guns combined. For every person killed with a gun how many were killed in car accidents? and of those killed in car accidents how many of those were alcohol related? (cough Ted Kennedy cough).
It is time for the world to stop blaming guns and start blaming the criminal fucks that commit the crimes. How about instead of banning guns you start actually fighting crime. All the money that is spent to demonize guns could pay for a lot of new police officers to work the streets preventing crime. Swine Flu or sStolen Freedom?

The ongoing outbreak of swine flu in Mexico and the United states has prompted El Jefe Obama to ask congress for $1.5 billion dollars to purchase flu vaccines from the pharmaceutical companies. My question is this, will the extra vaccines be used here or in Mexico? And how long till our government in the name of national security makes these vaccinations mandatory for all citizens? I have never had a flu shot in my entire 31 years of existence on this planet and don't plan to start now, why would I when I have a perfectly good immune system that so far has done a pretty good job of fighting off all the usual germs I come in contact with every day. The problem with swine flu or as our government calls it H1N1 is that we have become a society of pansies running to the doctor for every sniffle. When I was growing up I didn't go to the doctor until there was something really wrong, I had to be bleeding profusely or bones had to be broken before I went to the doctor. Many times I would say mom I don't feel good and she would put her hand on my forehead and say you have a fever give me some children's Tylenol and tuck me in bed no rushing to the ER for me.
One of my few trips to the hospital involved a bad bicycle wreck on a freshly graveled road, I was riding my bike to my grandmothers house only a 1/4 mile away when the chain came off the sprockets which threw my balance off and over I went. When I hit the road I landed on my forearm and elbow which got carved up really well and when I walked into my grandmas house my aunt damn near passed out I guess you could see all the tendons and muscles flexing when I moved my fingers . Grandma got me a clean wet washcloth and had me hold it over the wound to keep me from bleeding all over her floors and called my mom, when mom arrived she looked at my arm and said lets go and off to the ER we went. It took a major laceration for me to go to the hospital, to this day I avoid doctors whenever possible they have more important things to do than tell me I have a cold or the flu.
If you read any kind of medical information you will see that a common complaint of doctors is that diseases are becoming more and more resistant to antibiotics the reason for this is simple they have been over prescribed and over used for decades. I have known people that would take amoxicillin for the common cold, the flu, and any number of other common illnesses. Go to the doctor with any kind of infection and the first thing they try to give you is some form of penicillin, no wonder it doesn't work as well as it used to. How about instead of throwing money and drugs at the problem you actually try and figure out what it is first jackass.
Years ago I went to the doctor because I had injured my knee and hadn't been able to straighten my right leg for better than three months, the GP I went to took some x-rays and poked and prodded my knee for a bit than looked at me and said I am going to send you to a specialist, great he admitted he didn't feel confident treating this so he was sending me to someone who could no drugs no bullshit just good judgment. The world needs more doctors like that. When I went to the specialist he looked at the x-rays and did more poking and prodding causing me great pain in the process, when he finished he said I really want to operate on this knee because I think you have a bone scale on the backside of your patella. Now I have found that there are four general types of doctors type 1 throws drugs at the problem, Type 2 want to cut everything to find out what's going on, Type 3 are the truly clueless quacks that really shouldn't be practicing medicine, and the fourth and rarest type are the ones who are both knowledgeable and caring. The true problem is most people go into medical school with the best intentions, they want to save the world but are blinded by the money the more patients they see the fatter their wallet gets. So now we have an outbreak of some new strain of the flu and the advice you get from the doctor on TV is if you start having flu like symptoms run to your nearest doctor as quickly as you can. This is the mentality that got us here in the first place.

What the hell is wrong with parents today

In today’s world to many parents try to be friends with their children instead of being parents. They let the schools and TV raise their kids and take no interest whatsoever in the lives of their children. What the hell is wrong with these people? They blame the schools when their children start failing, they blame society when their children are arrested for drugs, they blame the tobacco and alcohol industries when their children are smoking and drinking, yet they never stop to think did i do something wrong. People today want to blame all of their problems on someone else instead of taking responsibility for their own actions. How in the world is it the fault of Budweiser that your child was picked up for a DUI at 16? Did an employee of Anheuser Busch hold a gun to his head and force him to drink and drive? The answer my friend is no it’s your crap parenting that got you into this position. I took my first drink of alcohol at age 21 not before, I have never smoked pot or done any other illegal drug. I was raised with respect for the law, I was taught to obey the laws of this country even the ones I didn't agree with. What has happened to parents in this country? I see 6,7,8 year old children with cell phones, wearing clothes that most street walking hookers would balk at, have we lost our minds? Often we see the news stories about internet predators convincing minors to meet them for sex, and the parents are always there saying they didn't want to invade the child's privacy. What they should be saying is "We don't give a shit about our children and don't want to be bothered with the responsibility of raising them, or protecting them." this saddens me every time I see it. Why on earth would you not want to take care of your own children? Privacy is a wonderful thing and I cherish mine, and children do need to learn about privacy but there is a fine line between respecting their privacy and ignoring them altogether. Every time the news shows one of these internet predator stings I have to wonder why are the parents not checking up on what their kids are doing online? When the Columbine tragedy happened the criminals that perpetrated that incident had put video on the internet of themselves with the weapons they would later use, and there was ample evidence found after the fact that could have prevented this tragedy if the parents had pulled their heads out of their asses to see it. As parents you have a responsibility to protect your children from predators and themselves. How often do you check up on your child’s browsing history? If the answer is anything but every time they use the computer you have a problem. Your child could be looking at anything on the net and you would have no clue as to what it is they are looking at. The parents of the columbine shooters paid no attention to their children and look how well that turned out. If parents want to help their children they should stop worrying about being their friends and start worrying about what their children are actually doing. How to scare New Yorkers and get photos at the same time.

With the economy in the toilet and the government spending billions to bail giant corporations out of bankruptcy it seems like a foolish waste to spend $300K on a photo op. And yet that is exactly what the US government did, on April 27, 2009 the airforce sent an F16 and Air Force One on a flyover of New York City scaring the crap out of New Yorkers that had lived through the September 11th terror attacks. So this is the kind of change we can expect from our new president. He wants to save our country from the worst recession since the Great Depression of the thirties, and all we have done so far is give billions to the same greedy corporations that drove our economy into the ground in the first place. How about we just take some pretty pictures of the damn thing sitting on the ground, I’ll do it for free just get me there. A round trip ticket for me to take some pictures is far cheaper then flying the fucker to NYC with an armed escort. Here is an even cheaper idea PHOTOSHOP. You can’t tell me that with all the people in and around the president not one of them is experienced in Photoshop. How expensive can I be to hire someone to fake the shot you want, kill two birds with one stone get your photo and give someone a job at the same time. Now I realize that his cant happen as I actually makes sense and that is not acceptable. The media, the left wing lunatics, and pretty much all democrats rant and rave about George W. Bush for driving up a deficit when the all powerful Clintons had generated a surplus, yet President Obama with the stroke of a pen put us farther in debt than we have ever been before. That’s real change folks, is this the kind of change you wanted? I know that once he was elected President Obama was supposed to usher in an era of rainbows and puppies that ended crime, starvation, war, aids, and all of the other ills of the world, if you believe the media he is just about ready for sainthood. I have nothing against our president as a person but as a president he leaves a lot to be desired. Welcome to the new world folks government handouts run amok and more and more debt for us to pay back. Another issue I have with the president is the way he whores himself around the world begging forgiveness for the sins committed by the last president, the world should be thanking us for standing up to terrorist organizations, pirates, and threats to freedom around the world. When the world steps up and fights the forces of evil we will back down until such time we should apologize to no one. Why is it necessary for the US to fight all the battles of the world and then apologize for it? Did the French ask for an apology after WWII? No but they expect one now, instead of giving them what they want just look at them and say fuck off toad sucker. Fox ignores El Jefe

Not even President Obama can stop the juggernaut that is American Karaoke. In a surprising move Fox broadcasting has decided that they do not need to pimp themselves out to the president, and will not be airing his 100th day press conference. All the other networks however will be letting the president have yet more free air time. Strange how when there is a democrat in office the networks will bend over backwards to paint him in a good light and get into his good graces yet if the man in the big chair is republican all bets are off. Journalistic integrity my ass. George Bush was not a great president yet if you look at the news archives he was both incompetent and a borderline war criminal. What proof do they offer to uphold these accusations? Cleverly edited interview footage and piss poor camera angles that make normal facial expressions look remarkably stupid. Like everything else these news organizations do they use the power of the editing room to further advance their own agenda, it amazes me that the American people fall so easily for this blatant bullshit. Every interview with President Obama during the run up to election was full of softball questions, yet Senator McCain was grilled during every interview, and yet the public just swallows this and lets it continue without question. Wake up people do you honestly believe that a first term Senator gets to be president without making a few back door deals with the power brokers in Washington. If you do I have some great ocean front property in Utah I will sell you for cheap. So Baseball season is upon us and George Steinbrenner has a new ball park to play in, what was wrong with Yankee stadium? This arrogant asshole has decided that his millionaire primadonna ball club needs a new park to win games so what to do with the old one, tear it down of course. They tore down Yankee Fucking Stadium what the FUICK. The house that ruth built is no more, that site should have been preserved as a historical landmark not just torn down and tossed like yesterdays garbage. What's next Fenway, Wrigly, Lambeau field is looking pretty old, or how about soldier field? Its bad enough this jackass buys the crapiest team in baseball but then he destroys a piece of American history because it doesn’t have all of the latest bells and whistles, for true baseball fans it was never about the glitter and flash found in new ballparks it was about the experience of being at Yankee stadium. How is it you can buy the most expensive players in the game and put them on one team and still fail as completely as the Yankees have? As if I needed more proof that the Pacific Northwest has become a liberal hell, the Oregon House of Representatives is considering a bill that would grant in state tuition to illegal immigrants that graduate high school and are accepted to a state college. First of all which part of illegal immigrant is so hard to understand, these are not poor people to be pitied they are criminals. The department of immigration should really be looking into this every applicant that can’t prove there citizenship or legal status should be rounded up and sent packing. This is insane there are genuine US citizens that can’t go to college due to the fact that they cant afford it, yet we give out tons of aid to illegal aliens. What’s wrong with this picture? When I decided to go to college I was told that I could not receive any financial aid as I was one White, two male, three childless, and four employed, so what did I do I worked a full time job at night and pulled a full load o credits during the day. All the while I saw many, many students skating through on financial aid, or running start programs. The fact that this bill is even up for discussion is beyond insane. When will this country learn to take care of her own first? If these immigrants want to return to this country legally than by all means let them and then they can pay in state tuition but as long as they are here illegally lets treat them like the criminals they are. The bleeding heart liberals are all over this story, saying things like, if we give them access to higher education they will be able to get better paying jobs so they can pay more in taxes. Wrong anyone who hires them can be brought up on criminal charges for hiring illegal immigrants. Maybe this is part of the plan to stimulate the economy give these illegal’s a bachelors degree let them get hired into large corporations for less than a legal citizen and then fine the shit out of the corporation for hiring illegal aliens. Why do we punish some criminals but others get a free pass? Drink and drive no problem, sell drugs that’s ok, live in this country illegally lets put you through school, but should you do something like hit a bicyclist that runs a red light and the lynch mob comes out with the rope. Concealed carry and the enemies of freedom.

At the end of the Bush administration the outgoing President Bush gave gun owners one final parting gift, he lifted the ban on concealed carry in national parks. Of course anything that makes society safer has to be contested by the anti gun community, anti gun lobby groups like the Brady campaign protested loudly that this would only lead to more crime. The anti freedom crowd went to court and were granted an injunction their claim is that allowing concealed carry in national parks will lead to a rise in poaching and assaults on park land. HUH? Did I miss something here? If you are a law abiding citizen and your local law enforcement agency can find no reason to deny your application for a CHL why would you then go into a national park to assault someone, it would be far more convenient o just walk out your front door. I talk to a lot of hunters throughout the week on the talk hunting forum (http://www.talkhunting.com) and the universal opinion of poachers is that there isn’t a lower form of life on this planet. Why do these people continue to claim that guns cause crime and all gun owners are criminals that have not been caught yet? When I go out into the wilderness I always pack a firearm of some type. In case these people haven’t noticed animals live in the woods not just in the zoo. When we humans venture into the woods we are at a disadvantage, the critters that call them home have thousands of years of evolution and instinct that makes them far more adapt at movement through brush than we humans. With just a bit of research you can find numerous stories of hikers being stalked and attacked by a cougar. And as we the people expand our cities and towns mowing down more of the natural habitat encounters with wolves, bear, badgers, and a whole host of other unfriendly critters are on the rise. Just on the basis of anatomy humans are no match in a fight with any of these creatures unarmed. All of the creatures I mentioned above have sharper teeth and claws than any human I have ever met, and most of them are far stronger then the majority of people. Defending yourself from a cougar attack is a daunting task if you venture into their home unarmed, most times the noise of a gunshot will scare off the animal in question. The anti gun lobby must believe that all the animals in the forest are just like those cute animals in the Disney cartoons they watch and would never harm a human. Unfortunately reality isn’t like a Disney movie, that black bear your staring at does not want to dance and sing for you, you are a threat to him and his instinct is more like the hulk, smash threat to little puddle of goo. As far as their claim that assaults will rise if you let people carry concealed I foresee just the opposite happening. If the criminals have to wonder if you are packing they will begin to think twice about assaulting you. Most criminals are cowards that prey on the weak and defenseless. I carry my gun with me not because I want to hurt someone or because of how cool it is I carry it so that if something threatens me or my family I can have a better chance of surviving the encounter weather the threat has two legs or four. If your state is a shall issue state and you have a CHL why shouldn't you be allowed to carry in a national park? During one of the protests one of the anti gun groups claimed that if concealed carry were allowed in the national parks their members would be to afraid to visit them, that is fine with me as that is just that many fewer people with screaming children to damage my calm. What I don't understand is this, why would you stay away from a place where someone else will protect you? The last time I checked most of the national parks were not heavily policed; there is way more land than there are park rangers. Unlike most cities law enforcement response time in the national parks is hours not minutes. If I were to witness someone being beaten I would step in to help regardless of whether they are pro or anti gun, because I am pro humanity. I am not going to ask the victim which they are before hand, and I bet that even if they are anti gun they would prefer my gun and I to step in over the alternative. I find it somewhat amusing that the people who speak out the most against guns are the ones surrounded by armed guards. The anti gun community needs to stop these attacks on their fellow Americans and concentrate on what really needs to change the enforcement of laws we already have such as putting felons in possession of weapons behind bars if we started there we would see our crime rates dramatically reduced. With the laws the way they are what we have is a dilemma for gun owners, leave the gun home the next time we visit a national park and be a better target. Or carry concealed and be an outlaw, the law should be there to protect all not turn some into criminals just for wanting to protect ourselves and the ones we love. The Brady campaign to prevent gun violence has come up with ways to stop the crime in Mexico by making current gun laws in the US stronger. Their claim is that by strengthening our laws it will make it harder for criminals to buy guns. Read that last sentence again I’ll wait. Now think about that with just a bit of common sense, if they are already criminals why would they obey new stronger laws when they already break the ones we have? The articles on their website use current and past tragedies to push their own agenda. Not only does this show no compassion whatsoever for he victims or their families but it shows just what kind of people really run this non profit group. If you take a look at their website http://www.bradycampaign.org/ you will see lots of propaganda extolling the evils of handguns, high capacity magazines, and military style assault weapons. If you read the articles please do some research on your own as they sure as hell haven’t, what isn’t an outright lie is so wildly inaccurate as to be comical. One of my personal favorite lines used is that since the expiration of the 1993 AWB in 2004 law enforcement agencies around the country are outgunned by criminals with “military style assault weapons”. To this I say BULLSHIT!!! All law enforcement agencies are allowed to utilize fully automatic weapons, the same weapons used by our great fighting men and women in the military. Now can criminals get their hands on these types off weapons? Yes but not through any legal means, I some instances regular civilians can also purchase these weapons at great cost mind you. If you want to jump through all the hoops and pay all the fees you could get yourself a class 3 FFL and you could buy and sell full auto weapons and other items on the ATF restricted lists. But convicted felons cannot do this they are not allowed to own guns at any time and yet when we catch a felon with a gun what happens some liberal touchy feely judge lets him go with a minor sentence or no sentence at all just slaps his hand and says don’t do I again. What’s wrong with this picture? The Brady campaign wants to punish all law abiding citizens for he corruption in our government, judicial system, and now a foreign government. The corruption of the Mexican government is well known and the drug cartels there take full advantage of it so why should I be punished for that? In their report Assault weapons: mass produced mayhem they pain a bleak picture of how no good comes from anyone owning an “assault weapon” report after report of shootings and cop killings with assault weapons yet the weapon in question is never identified. One of the claims made in his “report” is that criminals prefer assault weapons because of their ease of concealment. How is a rifle with the minimum barrel length of 16” and overall length of anywhere from 24 to 40” easily concealed? Of course the other key word in his rag is AK-47 which is repeated multiple times in a short period, they use the generic term as a scare tactic that works very well with the liberal sheep that swallow everything they say as if it’s the gospel truth. The truth is criminals were still getting and using the same weapons during the ten years o the AWB as they are now the only difference is we the people can now match arms with the criminals. As I am reading through this report the lies and half truths are everywhere, the claim that pistol grips on assault weapons is to stabilize them when firing from the hip position is comical, if that were true why dosnt the military train our soldiers to ire their weapons that way? Because it’s not a great way to fire the weapon is why. Another claim is that hand guards on assault weapons are there to protect the hands from the heat of firing multiple shots is true the claim that they are unnecessary is false most of the weapons classified as assault weapons have a barrel that is almost fully exposed without hand guards you would have no way to stabilize the rifle during any type of firing. Their claim that assault weapons have no place in a polite society is utter crap; we don’t live in a polite society. The framers off the constitution wrote the second amendment for a reason it gives we the people a way to stop a tyranny from taking our freedoms away. If we ever do achieve the utopian paradise these people dream of then they will be right assault weapons will have no place there, butt until that day assault weapons have a place in my gun safe. Ever since Barrack Obama was elected President the firearms market has been in complete disarray. the prices on guns and ammo have skyrocketed, finding ammo in the popular calibers is nigh impossible. Everyone is hoarding everything they can get their hands on. This is in reaction to things that were discussed during his campaign, the 1994 AWB is back on the table, ammunition bans have been mentioned, new gun laws requiring registration of guns, limiting the number of guns you can purchase, all in the name of crime prevention and safety. One of the subjects mentioned is banning most hunting rifle ammo as armor piercing. How many crimes are committed by guys with hunting rifles? This is just another way for the touchy feely crowd to finally ban hunting in this country. The pinheads for the ethical treatment of animals (PETA), the humane society of the United States, and many other animal rights groups have wanted hunting outlawed for decades. Why do they want this? Hunters are one of the key elements to keeping the balance in nature on the level. Without hunting animal populations would grow to sizes that ecosystems cannot sustain which would cause havoc to all creatures. Washington State banned the use of hunting dogs for cougar, and bear hunting years ago now the populations of both groups are quickly becoming unmanageable, it makes no sense whatsoever to ban hunting and expect there to be no repercussions in nature. But the animal rights groups don't really care about that as long as their agenda gets pushed forward and crammed down the throats of every person. I grew up in an area where hunting is still a big part of life and I went hunting for many years. The lessons i learned from those experience has helped shape me into the man I am today. I learned that responsibility, self reliance, and that hard work could pay off big dividends. And the memories I have of those trips into the woods will be with me always. Pro hunting and outdoors groups like Ducks Unlimited, and Trout Unlimited have done more for conservation of natural habitat than all of the animal rights groups combined. Hunters are always painted as either bloodthirsty savages or simple minded fools that live only to kill any thing they can. What the animal rights groups don't want you to see is we are a diverse group that actually cares more about the animals we hunt than they do. Do we kill animals? Yes, but we don't kill only for killings sake. We harvest animals for food and to keep the populations under control. Most states have a 1 animal bag limit for large game and in most areas of my state it is male only. You can get special tags that allow for the taking of a female but generally you are only allowed to kill on adult male animal per season. This insures that there will be new babies born the next year thereby sustaining the species yet keeping the population within manageable limits. You do hear stories of animals being killed for the trophy with the rest of the carcass left to rot; the individuals that do this are not hunters they are scumbags with no business being out in the woods. Unfortunately these are the stories that make headlines. The things that should be reported are when hunters’ rights groups spend millions to restore fish and wildlife habitat to its natural state. When was the last time PETA spent money on anything but ads? PETA euthanized 95% of the adoptable pets they took in, for a group that wants ethical treatment for animals they have a odd way of showing it. Many of the people I have met while out duck hunting have a dog that they treat like one of their own children, and yet since they enjoy killing their food they obviously can’t love animals. If PETA actually gave a damn about animals they would spend more money protecting them than killing them. My personal opinion of PETA is that they are a borderline terrorist organization that has absolutely no regard for anyone but themselves and their bullshit agenda. On Tuesday April 9th Angels rookie Nick Adenhart was killed by a drunk driver. The driver identified as Thomas Gallo, he was drivinig on a suspended license from a previous drunk driving conviction. at the time of the accident his blood alcohol level was below the legal limit of .08. The question remains what the hell was this criminal fucktard doing on the street in the first place. How many bodies have to pile up before we start to crack down on drunk drivers. The fact that this guy was driving at all is a travesty of justice, and now a promising young pitcher has lost his life because of it. When will people learn that drinking and driving is a monumentaly stupid idea? THe real problem is that the criminal fuck driving the minivan through a red light had a prior conviction for DUI, but as we have been shown that does not mean much in California. Paris Hilton, Lindsy Lohan, and Kiefer Sutherland were all convicted of DUI and spent no real time in jail whats wrong with this picture? Every year more people are killed by drunk drivers than drugs, guns, or cigarretts, and yet we paint the smokers and the gun owners as evil sub human creatures. WHen will we start treating these imbiciles like the criminals they are and lock them up before they kill someone. Here's a thought for your first DUI conviction instant 6 month felony incarceration, then if in the next 2 years if you are stopped while driving a car its a 5 Year sentence. Once you have finaly been released for the next 5 years i you drive it is a life sentence as you have proven that you are a career criminal and cannot be trusted to live with law abiding citizens. If you live anywhere near a city there are many ways to get around without driving, take a bus, train, cab, rickshaw whatever, just stay out of the damn drivers seat. Mexican Guns

If you have watched the news at all you have probably seen the President of Mexico blaming the US for the issues they are having with the drug cartels. He claims that the cartels are getting most of there weapons from the United States. I don't know about where you live but apparently if you go to any gun shop on the Mexican border you can buy machine guns, rpgs, hand grenades, and anything else you want no questions asked. The scary thought here is that the liberal sheeple will believe this utter crap and push for more gun bans and ultimately outright confiscation, if you have studied history at all you would know that the last murder committed with a legally obtained full automatic weapon was in the thirties, when a police officer used his department issue Thompson to kill his wife. Every other crime committed with an automatic weapon was committed with either one that was purchased on the black market or one that was illegally converted to full auto capable. Now what most of these morons call an assault weapon is nothing more than a semi-automatic sporting firearm. To be classified as an assault weapon by the proper definition of the term mean that the weapon has to have the ability to fire fully automatic. For those of you who know nothing about firearms I will explain, a semi-automatic weapon fires one round for every pull of the trigger, full automatic weapons can fire multiple rounds with one pull of the trigger. In 1994 the federal government banned the sale of several firearms in this country based solely on looks. None of the weapons covered in the ban were full automatic but they looked like military grade hardware therefore they must be banned. Some of the items banned were things like folding/telescopic stocks for the AR-15 and Mini 14 rifles, flash hiders, bayonet lugs, and other miscellaneous items that had no effect on how the weapon functioned, but they looked dangerous. Also banned during that time for sale to civilians were any magazine that could hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. This plan was an abject failure from the word go, not only did it not deter crime it left law abiding citizens defenseless. The so called assault weapons that were banned were used in less than 5% of all gun crimes before the ban took effect so even if it had worked what would it have done to the overall crime rate. What it did accomplish is to drive the market for pre-ban weapons and accessories through the roof with prices soaring to triple what they were before it took effect. More people are killed by drunk drivers every day than by assault weapons yet we don't ban alcohol, more people are diagnosed with diabetes than are harmed by assault weapons yet nothing is done to curb the fast food industry, why are weapons always catching blame for crime? Part of the problem is the mass media and their anti gun bias, anytime you watch a news story about some kind of violent crime weather it was committed with a knife, hatchet, sharp stick, or skateboard the graphic that appears on your screen next to the talking head is a handgun. Who needs truth when you have an agenda. When my coworkers discovered my love of firearms and passion for the protection of the second amendment they couldn't understand what drove it. The biggest question is "what do you need all the guns for?" "what do you think is going to happen?" my answer is always I don't need the guns I need my rights to stay my rights. It has long been the dream of the anti gun community to abolish the second amendment, if they succeed where do they stop? Lets say that guns are outlawed for civilian ownership, then who will stop the same people from deciding that we really don't need the first amendment, the second amendment is there to protects all the others. When we broke away from Britain we wanted to make sure that no tyrannical government could rise up and control the people of the united states through terror and oppression, the way to accomplish that is to let the people have guns so that if necessary we could rise up in revolt against a tyrannical government. Now with the focus on the Mexican drug wars and the erroneous statements of several anti gun lobbyists, we are being told that 90% of the weapons used by the cartels are smuggled into Mexico from the US. To this i say Bullshit! During a congressional hearing on the subject Diane Feinstein a notable anti gun democrat who happens to have a concealed handgun license asked an agent from the BATF if that number were true. His response was no that is not true the number is closer to 17%. So where are the rest of the guns coming from? There are many theories such as the international black market, theft from the Mexican government, corruption in the Mexican army, South America, and other nations were the drug trade is a large part of the economy. How is this the fault of the American people? Why should we be punished for the acts of criminals in Mexico. If someone breaks into your house and cuts himself on the glass should you be held liable? Its ridiculous how am I to blame for the acts of criminals in a country I have never even been to? If the cartels are such a problem then maybe its time to clean out the corrupt government and take a hard stance against them. One way to combat the rise in drug crimes is to legalize and tax the drugs. Make them a legitimate business and tax the crap out of it. Then turn around and use the money to fund anti drug programs. If it is no longer a crime and is now a business you would see the amount of drug related violence take a sharp nosedive. Why is it that when these morons get elected they lose all common sense? I have a dream that one day a man will be elected President and he will actually give a damn about this country and the people in it and he will work to see that this country is taken care of before we spend time and money worrying about everyone else. I have a dream that one day all people will be treated equally whether they are pro gun or anti gun and that common sense will once again be seen in our government. Useless Nations

This week North Korea launched a rocket that according to them carried a communications satellite, but all other countries are calling this a test launch for ICBM research. Now depending on whom you listen to the launch was both a success and a failure. Korea says the satellite is up and running perfectly and everyone else says the rocket splashed down into the Pacific Ocean. During the lead up to this launch many nations asked the North Koreans to abort their plans and threatened new sanctions if they went through with it. The day after the launch the UN, (useless nations) convened an emergency meeting to discuss what to do about the North Korean missile crises, and what did they decide NOTHING. What a shock. The blowhards at the UN again did nothing, what about those sanctions that were threatened, not that the UN would actually enforce them. How many times have the useless nations actually done anything in times of crises let’s ask the people of Darfur, Rwanda, Somalia. Oh wait most of the people that really needed help in those countries are dead already most by starvation, and death squads. Where was the UN when those people were being drug out into the streets and beaten, raped, and murdered by their own governments personal death squads. Sitting back in fancy offices enjoying the fruits of diplomatic immunity her in the USA. Why do we still sit back and support this group of useless egotistical bastards, they complain that the US is to quick to use violence and military strength when diplomatic solutions should be sought. The world has been working for diplomacy with the North Korean government for years and where has that gotten us absolutely nowhere. In 1991 we tried diplomacy with Saddam Hussein and look where that ended up; he tortured and slaughtered his own people until we decided that enough was enough, if the UN wasn't going to stop him the US would. If the United Nations actually gave a damn about the world at large they would not rely on the US to be the worlds police force, they would use the military might that has been pledged to them to take care of these problems so we could take care of the problems here in our country. When will this country wise up and see that the UN is a useless organization of fat bureaucrats that has never lived up to its promises. We need to get out of the UN and then throw them out of our country we could use the building as a really nice homeless shelter, or sell of the prime New York real estate that is sitting on. Instead of always taking on the problems of the world why don't we force the UN to do what it was designed to do and handle these issues fairly and without bias isn't that the whole point of its existence. Over the last forty plus years any major conflict that has come up the US has provided the vast majority of both money and manpower to resolve it, why. Why is it always our responsibility to solve all the worlds problems when are the other members of the UN going to pitch in with more than a token gesture. At the very least they could send a little cash our way to cover some of the expense we put out to contain all the fires that keep cropping up. As far as North Korea goes we can take care of this problem too isn't this the kind of situation that we have black ops groups take care of. Let Delta Force go in and just blow the launch facility to hell before the Koreans can prep another rocket. If we have to be the worlds police force lets just drop the UN altogether and start enforcing laws our way, no more kid gloves maybe its time we rethink that no assassination rule. Big news from the NATO summit Europe applauds President Obamas’ new plan for Afghanistan and pledges to send 5000 trainers and security personnel for their upcoming elections. El, Jefe for his part plans on sending in another 21,000 US troops bringing the total us contingent in country to 59,000. So yet again we cater to the brain trust that is NATO while we do all the real work on the ground. Is this the grand plan we were promised during his campaign? I thought he wanted to spend less money on involvement in the Middle East. Apparently I misheard him, he wants to pull troops out of Iraq and move them to Afghanistan how is that going to save this country money? What we really need to do is get the hell out of their religious war. Another thing most people tend to forget or overlook is most of the 9/11 attackers were Saudi, so why are we still kissing the ass of the Saudi rulers? We should have had teams in Saudi Arabia from the get go but they control the majority of the worlds Oil Supply so hands off. You want to save this country, create jobs, and rescue the economy Mr. President? Then bring our troops home and put them on border defense, start drilling for oil in Alaska and start deporting those that are in our country illegally. I know there are some who will say that aliens do jobs that other Americans don’t want to do, to this I say bullshit faced with feeding your family by picking vegetables or watching your kids go hungry I don’t know to many people that wont take whatever work they can find. I have herd of many many people with bachelors and masters degrees that have been laid off due to corporate downsizing that are taking any job they can find be it flipping burgers or pushing a broom just to get by. Let’s start with some disclosure on my part, I am a strong supporter of the second amendment. I believe that every law abiding citizen should own at least one firearm. The second amendment was written to protect we the people from government run wild, such as when Hitler started his genocidal war against the jews. If the german people hadn’t been disarmed prior to his reign of terror things might have gone differently for the Nazi party. Another reason I support gun ownership is the rise in crime across the country. Why wouldn’t you want to be able to defend yourself and your family? The police will never be able to get to you in time unless you live at a police station, it takes minutes to murder or rape a human being police response is usually long enough that by the time they arrive all they can do is start an investigation. The news is constantly filled with acts of senseless violence that could have been stopped by one armed citizen. Events like Columbine, Virginia Tech, Luby’s cafeteria, and countless postal shootings all could have been stopped if just one person had been armed. Think of the number of lives that could have been saved. What you won’t see on the news are stories of how an armed citizen stopped a crime more often than not without firing a shot. Since the news agencies are so blatantly biased towards the left and their appalling anti gun, anti freedom agenda they only report instances in which a gun was used to commit a crime. Its all well and good for the president and congress to say guns are not necessary for self defense when they are surrounded by armed bodyguards at all times, how many of you normal folk can afford a bulletproof suv to drive around in? How many of you can hire armed security to shadow you wherever you go? If the president is so comfortable let him drive a rental car around Washington D.C. or south central LA or Detroit with his family and see how safe he really feels. The claim made by the Mexican president recently that the drug cartels in Mexico are getting their guns from US gun stores is laughable in its inaccuracy. I need to find the gun store that is selling fully automatic weapons and hand grenades no questions asked. For those whose favorite argument is “you don’t need an AK-47 to hunt with” you’re right you don’t, but the weapon you all refer to has never been legal for general ownership in this country. Certain individuals can purchase fully automatic weapons legally, the general populace cannot. Fully automatic weapons have been illegal in this country for many years the ones you see used on the news are either illegally purchased or illegally altered to be full auto. Here is another thing to think about most of the crimes committed with firearms are committed by people with a prior felony conviction. Now the law states that felons cannot posses firearms, we the non-felons have to pass a background check to purchase weapons. The criminals have no problems with that as they don’t ever bother with little things like the law anyway. So how is taking guns away from the law abiding citizen going to stop crime? The only thing this will accomplish is to give the criminals easier targets to hit. Where I grew up there was almost no violent crime, why you might ask, because every house had one or more guns. The criminals knew that breaking into a house could get them killed and lots of people in that area had concealed carry permits meaning anyone in the convenience store or the bank could be armed. The simple fact is “Society is safer when the criminals don’t know who’s armed.” It’s a simple fact if you know there is a high probability of being killed or seriously wounded you avoid that location. Look up crime statistics for Washington DC and Chicago Il. They are pretty horrific, now look up the gun laws in those two cities they have the most restrictive laws in the country. In the case of Chicago our new president had a hand in that problem now he and his liberal brethren want to spread the wealth to the rest of the nation. Do we really want the crime rates in our cities to skyrocket to those levels? It’s insane to believe that more gun laws will make our streets safer or stop drug cartels from obtaining guns. If you truly want to know where the cartels are getting there weapons as the Mexican government to do an audit on their weapons stores. Living in liberal hell as I do has really opened my eyes to the stupidity of the populace, all those people who voted for change got one but I cant see it as change for the better. So far the only change I can see is a huge increase in the national debt to bail out the banks that killed our economy in the first place. Now the liberal braintrust that is driving this train wreck wants to put the screws to one of the few industries that is making money. If they truly wanted to do some good they would stop spending money on other countries problems. Why are we still in Iraq, bring the boys home and put them on the Mexican border to stop the weapons and drug smugglers. Pull out of Germany that country has learned its lesson we kicked the crap out of them twice, pull out of korea let them fight it out, this would save us boat loads of cash. Other ideas to help the economy without raising taxes, it would call for some new taxes to be created but here me out, legalize drugs and regulate and tax the crap out of them, then legalize prostitution and regulate and tax it to. Think about it doing these two things would lower crime rates and the cases of stds seen in this country. All I am trying to say is there are far bigger problems to deal with in this country than taking guns from law abiding citizens, in fact taking the guns out of civilian hands will do nothing but add to the problems we already have. But what the hell do I know I am just an angry hillbilly.

New fire for old hobby

This year will mark my return to hunting. I havent gone out in search of furry wodland creatures for many years, i am excited and a bit nervous. My last foray into the wild was with my broher Jeff many years ago i went out tto play packmule for him during black powder season in Washington. Even though we didnt bag any game I had a great time with my brother. With any luck next season he and i can go out again.
